Overall it was an OK experience. Docks were good, electric and water at each slip, grounds were kept nice and you have access to the hotel pool and free breakfast was a plus. It was convenient for us as we had guest staying at the hotel. I will say that Sheri was wonderful, great communication prior to our arrival, and she even gave me a ring once we got settled to make sure we were good. The only real down fall is that you are completely exposed to wind and wave traffic, we stayed on the boat 2 nights and both nights had a south west wind that rocked us REALLY bad ALL night long. I think this is a great marina for anyone coming in by boat, BUT staying in the hotel, not staying on the boat.
Nice stay overall, with a great view…but you need know the type of marina you are booking a slip with, this is a working marina and their focus on their service/repair department, not so much for their slips/transient guests. The docks were adequate, electric and water at each slip, we did not use them, but the bathroom and showers were clean. They do not provide anything beyond this though, if you need anything, you need to walk into the shop and grab a mechanic. They advertise selling ice, but they do not. You really need to prep a head of time before coming in. We had a dingy, so we were able to run across to the town, for ice and supplies, if not you would need to figure out transportation, as its way too far to walk. I will also add (though not affiliated with the marina) the Sailors Pub provided a wonderful meal!
Fabulous marina that went above and beyond to make are stay a great one! Clean showers, pool was great, staff was helpful and friendly, beautiful club house with pool table, nice seating area and nice laundry facility. Everything is basically brand new, we would definitely go back….short walk to down town
Great marina that is very quiet and laid Back. The manger is a SUPER nice gentleman that met us at the dock upon arrival. Gave us his personal cell number incase we needed anything after hrs. Also supplied us with a few bags of ice free of charge. The pool was great, showers/heads very clean, a short walk or bike trip to town (marina had very nice bikes to use). Overall a great place, they really welcomed us in and made us feel right at home. Oxford is a wonderful little town, we will definitely be back for sure!!
Beautiful marina, helpful staff, and wonderful amenities. Staff was wonderful at communicating and welcoming us a head of time though email. Upon arrival, haled dock master on the radio and he had our slip assignment immediately, dock hands we’re waiting at our slip and we’re very helpful. Floating docks are a plus and the pool was great for the kids. Definitely recommend and we will definitely be back!
