AYC accepts transient requests on Dockwa - the Waitlist option often works best as we can only confirm reservations less than a week in advance due to club rules reserving transient space for members. This makes AYC a better "last minute" option to check rather than boaters who need a confirmed slip in advance,

Our docks and slips are home to approximately 50 member boats and we usually have 1 or 2 transient slips available for boaters visiting Kennebunkport. Transient guests have access to our clubhouse, the Ropewalk.

Dock Square is a 5 minute walk with dozens of shops, restaurants, and a well stocked store with provisions and beverages. We have ice available onsite as well as wireless access at the Ropewalk. Transient boaters are welcome to use club amenities, including bathrooms with a shower, a deck with seating and BBQ grills. Guests must observe the same dock rules as our members, including quiet hours, no loud music, no swimming off the docks, shirts and shoes required, and generally no activities that would disturb others on the docks.

Founded in 1957, the AYC is a working club based on volunteer activity and all members are encouraged to participate. Our mission is the enjoyment of boating, waterfront activities, and social events with fellow members in an informal setting.

Daytime (hourly) transient slips based on availability - please call 207-967-3060 or reach us on VHF Channel #9 on the day of your request to confirm availability. Rates are $10/hour for boats up to 30' and $20/hour for boats 30' to 60' (maximum beam is 15').

Our face dock is right off the main channel. Transients on the face dock are on the downriver side. There is generally deeper water and room for turning around either just downriver from the face dock or just up river (or the basin before the bridge). High tide is obviously best for arrivals and departures as depths in the river fluctuate quite a bit outside the navigation channel. The most recent depth measurement in 2023 reads just over 4.5' off the downriver side of the face dock at mean low tide. Shoulder season: Stewards available Sat/Sun 10am-6pm.
