Report Review

This City owned and operated, 319 slip marina, is brand new and just opened for business on 7/25/11, six years after being destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. This is an amazing facility with large slips, wide fairways, slip-side pumpout, ample permitted parking, 30/50/100A power, and a great staff that is ready to help you in any way possible. The brand new and easily-accessible fuel dock will be open by mid-September 2011 and will offer competitive pricing on non-ethanol 90 octane gasoline and marine-grade diesel, both of which will be pre-treated with the industry-leading ValvTect Marine Additive. Slips range in size from 22 feet up to 63 feet and many are still available as of 8/1/11. Depth is 9 to 11 feet throughout and quick access to the Gulf and beyond is only moments away from your slip. Transient dockage will soon be available at a dollar a foot per day. The Harbor is now staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and monitors VHF Channel 16 at all times. For all the info and great customer service, call Liz at 228-868-5881 and she'll be happy to fill you in on all the details. A nicer, better built, or more modern docking facility simply does not exist anywhere on the northern gulf coast. This is truly the gem of them all and you have to see it to believe it. Several pre-Katrina boaters are on their way back to the Harbor and they will be happy to welcome you into the fold. Sailboats or power boats, everyone is welcome at the new Gulfport Small Craft Harbor.
