This is the marina to be in to explore Detroit--which has a ton of fun activities and good restaurants to offer. It however was one of the worst check in experiences, due to the clunkiness of the Michigan State reservation system. We had originally booked for 3 days but then wanted to extend it but the system said our slip wasn’t available, even though there were tons of open slips in the marina. So we had to go through a lengthy check in process to be able to stay in our slip and have the system register we were in the correct slip. Friendly staff, free laundry (which is huge!), and great access, but the reservation system could use some help.
