Margate Marina is situated in North West Bay south of Hobart. It is the gateway marina to the acclaimed cruising grounds of the D'Entrecasteaux Channel. Its a newly redeveloped marina, currently with 130 floating berths (expanding to 300 berths) ranging from 10m to 40m.

The Marina entrance is approached from the southern end of the attenuator/breakwater.
All visiting vessels must ring the Marina office on approach (03 6267 9600).
The floating fuel dock is within 20m of the very visible tall crane adjacent to the slip ramp.
