We stay here often during transits between New England and Florida, on our 42 ft workboat. It is a bit off the beaten path (as is Belhaven); but this marina is really nice. Free Laundry facilities, great showers, nice clubhouse, and super friendly people.
We've been staying here off and on for about three years, and this marina has really stepped up it;'s game under the new management. New dock surfaces, extended finger piers, expanded laundry, expanded foods selection in the office store.
It is one of the quietest and most peaceful marinas we've enjoyed, and we stay at about 40 different marinas a year. At night it's dark, for a marina, which is really nice; its a very natural area. All in all, it is definitely a go-to for us.
My only negative is with connectivity. It is the only place we stay that we just cannot manage to get a cell signal (Verizon, AT&T, Cricket), which if course has nothing to do with the marina. Their wifi tends to be a bit problematic as well; but we HAVE seen improvement on it.
