This was one of my favorite stops on the ICW! The location is heavenly. Just south of the South Causeway Bridge, the location is convenient to walk to town, restaurants, shops and even across the north bridge. We had great access via a partial floating dock and fixed dock which made the tide swings easy. The dock had a lovely area with Adirondack chairs. We spent a few delightful hours just watching the squadrons of pelicans dive for fish. One morning as I sat on the back of the boat a sea turtle popped it's head up close enough I heard it take a breath. Take some time to go to Yellow Dog Eats - it was so good we ate there twice and be sure to grab some local coffee at Island Roasters to take along with you. We enjoyed meeting a few of the B&B guests as they came out to spend time on the dock. The docking was easy for us in a 10 ft beam Ranger Tug R-29. The piers are about 14.5 feet out from the dock and the depth is about 10-12 feet. The current in the area was not a problem. Highly recommend!! David and Natalie were marvelous hosts.
