This is by far my favorite marina! Always a wonderful time at Mystic Brewers! Dock hands, friendly- beautiful marina! Fun town to dingy to. Not a 5 star, 10!

Great place nice people

This was a last-minute reservation and Safe Harbor Mystic was so accommodating. We were met on arrival for docking assistance and help with setting up the electrical service. Everyone was helpful and informative. We will definitely be returning next year.

EJ was in communication with us as we entered the harbor and guided us to our slip. Once we were secured, he explained all the facilities that were available. The marina was quiet at night which was great. There is a 15 minute/ 1.2 mile walk to the shops and restaurants. Longer hike to the Big Y supermarket at 1.4 miles.

We enjoyed our time in Mystic, thanks to Dockmaster Sue. While we did not use the laundry facilities, we did take a peek and the area was very clean and quite large with ample table area for folding clothes, which is not always an available item. Great stop as we head south.

Great location like all Safe Harbors, service is consistently great. Was here for 4 days waiting for the seas to calm. I want to mention that not only is the staff super friendly and helpful, but the other voters at this marina are also very welcoming and friendly as well. Making for a very chill and satisfying stay.

Sue and EJ are always pleasant and accommodating. This is our favorite destination, the marina staff is a big part of that.

We stayed 1 night on Labor Day weekend 2023. Reservations were easy. Good communication from marina before our stay. Quick call on vhf on way up channel for slip assignment. Dock help was excellent, very clear directions to our slip where someone was waiting to help us tie up. Facility is nice,very close to downtown so if you are walking or riding a bike it's a short trip to all that Mystic has to offer. .Marina was quiet at night. Filled up with fuel and pump out before heading back to home port and that went so smoothly. The staff is very professional. We will definitely make this a yearly trip but will extend our stay.

We were told to take our Trump flag down after coming from a proud week at Block Island where they were flying high. They were NOT, however, telling anyone to put their MASKS on. BTW NOTHING was written in our ‘welcome’ packet saying no political flags allowed. So we know the agenda and will not be returning to Mystic Safe Harbor Marina where the First Amendment is NOT respected.

Sue was wonderful in getting us in last minute. We always have a positive experience here.

August 2023 : We had another awesome isit to Safe Harbor Mystic Yacht yard. Sue and the dock staff are such a pleasure to work with. It is a great location with an easy walk to town. Safe Harbor expected quality of docks and facilities. We will be back. This time we tried Chapter One for dinner and would highly recommend.

If I could give Safe Harbor Mystic 10 stars I would! Sue in office was AWESOME…Could not be nicer and as helpful as can be…dock staff went out of their way to be available and helpful as well….pool was nice….bathrooms and laundry were clean. Have stayed in Safe Harbor Mystic for two years now and will DEFINITELY go back.

Marina staff were extremely polite and helpful. The price is rather high for the lack of amenities. There is no shuttle into town, no loaner or rental bicycles. The bathrooms and showers were clean and in good repair.

Great staff. Helpful, accommodating, friendly. Nice pool and regulars on the dock. Only thing i didn't like is that there is nothing to eat or drink less than 15 minutes away (walking).

Nice marina. Great dockhands. A little worn in places (coaches in laundry, old laundry machines), heads ok but could use an upgrade. Dock C is very noisy on Saturday night…party dock.

no office staff or mechanical resources on the weekend. Pool was closed for shock Saturday until 4PM, and again on Monday Morning. rest rooms and showers good, clean, plenty of hot water. dock and dock staff good. No shuttle to town, need to uber or walk.

Prefect location for a short visit to Mystic! Great amenities; easy dingy ride to town.

Very pleasant stay. Lots to see and do in town and seaport. Marina has some nice upgrades this year. Most noticeable were the pool and hot tub, grilling areas, and new sitting/viewing area at south end of yard. Will definitely return for another visit.

Have been here many times over the last few years. Enjoy are stays, great dock hands ,pool is great and short walk to town.Bathrooms are very old and starting to really show there age. Time to remodel all of them. Other than the bathrooms I would recommend staying here.

This marina is in a perfect location. We came as a transient from another safe harbor marina. The location is a short walk from downtown mystic. Everyone at the marina was very nice and welcoming. The pool was incredible. The only downside to this marina is the bathroom facilities. They are clean but in terrible need of a renovation. It is doable. Given the location of the marina and its proximity to downtown Mystic, if the restroom facilities were upgraded this would be a perfect location to visit.

We love it in Mystic. We appreciate all the work done on patios and pool area. Dock hands pleasant and Sue was awesome when we had to shorten our stay due to a death in the family.

Easy walk to the drawbridge in Mystic with many shops and restaurants. Pool, Jacuzzi, open late. Quiet, well protected.

Safe Harbor never disappoints. Safe Harbor Mystic's staff is great and attentive. The facility is well maintained, including the all important heads and showers. It's a short walk to restaurants and shops, and the Mystic Seaport Museum. On short notice, they competently installed a water pump, which had me on my way the next day. We'll definitely stay there again.

Great marina to stay

Dock boys were great! Very friendly folk on the docks. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the bathrooms are in dire need of renovation.

We had our first stay at Safe Harbor Marina this past weekend and all we can say is 10/10. We had a last minute reservation and they were very accommodating. The staff was super friendly. Along with the marina residents. The facility’s were clean and have tons of amenities. The location is perfect as well. Just very short walk to town. We can’t wait to book our next trip.

Great stay at Safe Harbor Mystic. Helpful staff (Sue and EJ), clean facilities, nice pool. We look forward to returning later this summer. Only suggestion is better signage for A Dock. Was a bit confusing initially finding the A North slips.

Nicest staff you can ask for.

Staff was very courteous and accommodating to a last minute transient request. A little bit of a walk to main st., but otherwise a great marina to stay.

Despite a scheduling snafu, on our part, they fit us in, last minute and on Memorial Day weekend. Dock hands could not have been more friendly and helpful. The shower was like an awesome jet blast.

Everything was very good

Great spot, tucked in The Dumplings. They are putting $ into the place, and the bathrooms and showers will be nice. It’s a 20 minute very pretty walk to town, or a 5 minute dingy ride to the Town dock.

Great staff. Easy walk to town and a great restaurant suggestion by the Dockmaster. Facilities were under construction but look like they will be a good improvement.

Logistically very safe from bad weather and welcoming. Town is a short walk away.

We love the marina , as well as the general manager, his assistant, Sue,and the dock hands. It's one of our favorite marinas, with quick access to a great town and great restaurants. I can't say enough about the staff of the marina.

We needed a boat slip after having a poor experience at a neighboring marina. One quick call is all it took for their manager to find us a convenient slip. The facility and experience were both first class.

Always great to be in Mystic and to see Sue and the crew at SHM, our home port away from home!

Once again, our stay at Safe Harbor Mystic was great. We did have an issue with our head and one of the techs, Dennis, came down and in a little over an hour solved the issue. We could not have been more pleased. We look forward to another delightful visit.

Disappointed, upon arrival, no dock staff came to assist with docking and setting up electric and water. Someone arrived long after work was done. Also unhappy with the dirty condition of BBQ’s near my dock. Oh well, normally much better, guess they had a bad day?

We had a great weekend with SH Mystic. Our neighbors were very friendly and the accommodations were very good. The only thing was the hot tub was under construction. Would have been nice after a long day of fishing. Dockhands were very hospitable.

Excellently maintained floating docks. Good sized slips. Perfect electrical voltage. Good diesel fuel. Helpful dock hands. Cheerful fellow boaters. I stayed four days and loved every minute.

Great place, service and showers

Quaint little spot, nice floating docks and everyone we met was extremely friendly. Clean facilities and pool. We even had an issue with one of the boats in our group and they did a short haul and helped us out for a very reasonable price. We will be back for sure!

Close to downtown mystic. Marina was clean but dated. Pool area needs a major update in seating and umbrellas. There were only two 5’ dia umbrellas and a few cheap chairs. Need to improve this area. Dock staff was helpful and courteous.

We enjoy staying at Safe Harbor marinas…Not our first time at this one. Nice pool and great having gas grills and picnic table at the top of each dock, however the 2 grills at the top of our dock were out of gas. Men/women's restrooms were not cleaned during our 3 night stay (At least not the ones by the pool). Shower curtains had mold along the bottom. The same dead flowers were in the ladies’ room the entire time we were there. Just not cleaned, and definitely not up to Safe Harbor standards. Would be nice to have a shuttle to town and seaport. It was quite a hike. On a positive note, the dock boy who helped us was great. Wish we’d gotten his name.

It’s a great marina with lots of amenities and the location is perfect. Very clean restrooms and the pool was a big plus. The staff at the gas dock was very friendly and helped us into our slip with a smile.

We stayed back on June 24th. We originally scheduled 4 nights, but ended up staying a 5th night. Sue was and is very accommodating and was able to get the three boats in for the extra night. We always enjoy our stay at mystic. EJ is a polite and capable employee.

Beautiful marina close to town. Grounds are neat and clean. Upper deck at the pool is a great spot to enjoy a sunset. Our slip was on A dock providing more beautiful views. Staff was excellent!

This was our third staff at Safe harbor Mystic and it was great. Staff is always available, friendly and helpful. Pool is nice and well maintained. And although we have had slips in different locations, the local boat residents have always been very friendly and helpful. Love Mystic, will continue to use this marina.

We had a great 3 night stay at SH Mystic! It has a great location to walk into town that is exactly 1 mile to the Mystic draw bridge. They are very flexible with dingys being behind, beside, in front of your boat since everyone has one here. You can easily dingy to town or mystic sea port. Staff here was very attentive to any of our needs. Bathrooms were clean, pool was nice and the docks were pretty quiet Sunday thru Wednesday.

Always top notch amenities! Clean and organized docks and facilities. Staff is always courtious and helpful. It is a bit of a walk into town, however if you have your dinghy it's a quick and easy trip up river. This was a great spot for us!

We were lucky enough to be berthed in slip A9 which has a gorgeous view over the cove to the south of the marina...a bow in docking allowed us to fully enjoy it! Thanks!!!! Bring your dinghy (or walking shoes) as downtown is a 10min dinghy ride or 20min walk. Great place to spend a few days exploring and the ride in is great! but STAY in the CHANNEL!!

June 2022 - Another great experience at Safe Harbor Mystic. What's not to love about this facility! EJ was again on hand to help us get Banshee berthed in a great slip with access to all amenities. If you are planning a trip to Mystic, this is the spot. Easy access to downtown or a little bit down river to Ford's for lobster plus. Gracious service, clean as a whistle, everything you could want or need. Can't wait to return!

A quiet transient location, accessible to town. (long walk or short bike ride). Like most Safe Harbor marinas, a helpful dock staff is just a VHF call away.

Dockhand was great. Nice quiet night. Met fellow boaters that were so nice. Seaport museum was about a mile or so. A great walk after being on a boat for a while. Nice restaurants in town, well within walking distance.

Brewer Mystic continues to be my favorite marina. Beautiful location, great staff, the best water pressure in any marina showers anywhere, and an easy walk or dinghy ride into Mystic, which is a great town to visit.

Although we did not see anyone (weekend, still off-season), Sue took real good care of us and put ARIES in a beautiful face dock with great view-thank you! Her instructions were precise and simple-we will be back. The yard and marina seemed to be clean and neat.

Terrific marina; docks are in excellent condition; speaking with office staff was great - friendly, helpful, knowledgeable; had one dock hand who was high energy and helpful. My one concern — not just with this marina but most any I have been to — when approaching a new marina destination it is always an anxious time due to lack of familiarity. When asking directions in, slip assignment, etc most every marina employee seems to assume you know the layout and where to go as directions are hardly descriptive. Little effort is taken to make sure new arrivals are explained things in closer detail. Again not just this marina but most in general.

Very popular marina and for good reason….pool…jacuzzi…cable TV.. WIFI….. short dingy ride to town with shops and restaurants…not many marinas have all these things.

As usual, the marina staff was very friendly and accommodating. The marina is clean and well maintained. The docks are nice and they are well lit at night.

Our stay was wonderful, the facilities at Safe Harbor Mystic are great. There was just one problem, which did make our stay a little uncomfortable. There were no pump out facilities available to us from Wednesday until Sunday, which meant that we had no use of the facilities on our boat, we were forced to walk to the Safe Harbor bathrooms (which were fantastic), at all times of the day and night. I realize that things do breakdown but it is always a good idea to have a backup plan, there are hundreds of boats in your harbor, you should always have a pump out available. Karen & Gene Paquette

Safe Harbor Mystic has become one of my boys favorite spots to stop into. They are so nice and helpful, they have so many awesome amenities, and they are just a quick dinghy ride into the village of Mystic.

Great and friendly staff at Safe Harbor Mystic. The Dock B "family" is very welcoming to transients. Facilities were clean as well. Worth a stay at this marina.

Great marina, great staff and perfect location on the river!

Overall very nice place, close to downtown, nice facilities. However very disappointed in that several other transients were very loud, playing loud music past 11 PM. I had to politely ask them to turn it down and it seemed like they were offended I was asking them to do so. If I were a season long member there, would have been very upset. Not sure if the norm, but won't be going back, or if I do, will be asked to be docked away from the main docks. Safe Harbor should have someone swing by and enforce some type of curfew in my mind, especially since I am a year round Safe Harbor member and actually had to pay for my transient night. Feel like asking for a refund it was that bad.

Excellent service and facilities

We had a great stay at Safe Harbor Mystic. The dock staff was friendly and actually knew how to handle lines. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and I loved that they had a bag with information on the marina, local services and things to do for us. The facilities were clean and well-maintained. We also met so many nice people, from our marina neighbors to other cruisers. We were there during Tropical Storm Isaias, and we were well-protected. The staff checked on boats throughout the day and did what they could to make sure they were safe. We worked from our boat the week we were there, and the wifi was consistent and fast, even during the storm. We pulled into the fuel dock on departure and again our lines were well handled. We were able to get ice, water, fuel and pump-out, and they took the time to make sure we had everything we needed and didn't rush us even though there was another boat waiting as we finished up our last water tank. It was an all-around great experience and even though it was a remote work week for us, it already felt like vacation. We can't wait to come back someday hopefully soon!

Wonderful experience. Excellent service from Ned the mechanic that serviced my outboard on short notice and very fair in price. Went out of his way after returning engine to make sure all was OK. Planned to stay 2 days but stayed for 4. Would recommend without reservation.

Our recent visit was only for one night, but we will gladly return. The gal at the gas dock was welcoming and very competent. The facility was clean. The other customers on the dock were friendly. We love the town and all it offers. We look forward to returning.

I’ve stayed here a few times while cruising. One of my favorite layovers. Helpful and pleasant staff. It’s a short hike to Mystic town center and easy dinghy ride to Mystic Seaport. The ambiance is as nautical as you’ll get. Facilities are getting dated and need refurbishing, but I’m don’t need a resort when cruising. Showers are hot with good pressure. That’s my main criterion for a good marina as a transient sailor.

Wonderful place, slip assignment great, restrooms clean, great walk to town. Love the dinghy ride to seaport and out toward Mason Island. Return trip visit with grandchildren was excellent and we did use the pool a lot, they had a fabulous time. Our grand daughter out grew her goggles and handed two pair to a couple of younger girls to use at pool as she received a new pair thanks to short walk to CVS. Mystic staff always pleasant and yard always clean. Thanks to great and helpful management and staff.Look forward to returning

Stopped in here on short notice for a repair, and Ned's team had me fixed up, turned around, and on my way again in about 24 hours, which I greatly appreciated. Mechanic was prompt and efficient, dock girls were very helpful, and the docks themselves are the nice floating, composite type. Also an easy walk into town. I'll definitely stay here again.

Awesome facility and a short walk to downtown. We had some confusion pulling in and there was a small boat in our spot. Radioed them and they shot me an alternative immediately. We’ll be back for sure.

Friendly staff and a great location on the Mystic River. The restrooms were clean and we enjoyed the pool and deck area too. Great view from up on top of the pool house. We enjoyed using the grills and picnic tables too.

This is an annual stop for us. Great location and nice accommodations. We were arriving late on a Friday evening and even though we had called earlier, we received a call to verify that we knew our slip assignment since our arrival would be after hours. That's great customer service.

This was our second visit this season. It's a nice facility, but the rest rooms and showers could be updated. Also, they seemed to be short staffed with dock assistance. I would still return. Very convenient to town.

Our stay was great, Sue is great we arrived during a downpour and everything was wet, we went to use clothes washer and dryer but no soap there we asked Sue and behold she found one box for us, then 1/2 way through we ran out of quarters we went to ask and Sue was leaving but reopened and got us change. This yard is probably one of the best so far that we visited comparing our marina to this one we should move..

Helpful dockhand at the fuel dock then helping us dock. After that they left us alone laundry facilities were great and comfortable. Head was clean, lots of water pressure.

We love coming to Mystic Yacht Yard. Our only complaint is the bathrooms were not really very clean. Mold in the restrooms in office building & really no need for that if bleached properly. Jacuzzi wasn't working. Otherwise great. We'll be back! T & C Baker.

Overall a nice place with floating docks which is always a plus. Helpful and friendly staff. Areas for improvement are: Spa (hot tub) heater not working, baths could be updated and the usual crazy expensive fuel costs you find at a Safe Harbor marina.

Staff was great and facilities were clean. We had 7 boats in our Albin group and they managed to get us all on the same dock. It was a great weekend for all of us and all agreed it was a great destination. Winedown Albin 35TE

Our dockage was A19 and the view was stellar and the breeze and the air quality was excellent. The dock hands were very helpful and the facilities of the marina were well tended to and clean. The pool is also well tended with water appearing clean and clear. Plenty of seating. All and all this marina is one of the better ones.

The fuel dock attendant was OUTSTANDING, best service in 11 years of boating, absolutely perfect customer service.

Location and facilities are fine. What stands out is the competency of the dock hands and helpfulness of office manager. The docking staff actually know how to handle lines and assist in getting you out when currents and winds are challenging ! Also during the week we were running a bit late for our arrival and would arrive a bit later than 5 which is when the dock hands leave during the week. I called in and asked if they could stay a bit longer as I was sailing solo and had a knee injury. He did so readily! Sue who manages the office is always helpful and kind

Brewers Mystic is well located and a very nice marina. Sue went above and beyond to support my reservation efforts while I was having numerous problems getting registered with Dockwa. She also was instrumental in getting me forward looking reservations as well . . all very much appreciated.

Nice marina and location. The staff was friendly and helpful. I can't comment on the facilities or neighboring area since our stay was a quick overnight.

Very friendly staff and all the people we meet here were friendly and went out of their way to welcome us! Using Dockwa was fast and easy. I was very impressed.

Staff was great, marina shower and bathroom facilities dated, pool is nice, views of the river and RR bridge are unmatched. little walk to town, don't make the mistake of calling the yellow cab company,

Helpful staff, good location, 10 minute walk to town but you don't have to go under the bridges. Wifi, nice pool. Fully working cable TV, not many marinas still have that.

This is a great marina with a wonderful staff. It is a beautiful spot located before the bridges, and a short dinghy will put you in the center of downtown Mystic. The marina;s amenities include a pool, Jacuzzi and a laundry. I have been here many times and always look forward to my next visit!

Brewers yacht yard at Mystic is always a pleasure!! Very clean restrooms and pool area, and the location is superb to enjoy the mystic town area without waiting for the drawbridge to access. Love it here!

Stayed for one night. The kid at the fuel dock was very helpful in assisting us getting into the slip. The showers and restrooms are small and not very clean. The grills are clean. The pool is very nice. Walking distance to town.

Thought it was great that the pool area stayed open late. Slips are a little tight could use some" hull savers" on pillings

We always enjoy staying at Brewers Mystic but this time there was no WiFi available. The router appeared from time to time but we could not connect with any of our devices from the boat. It worked just outside the office.

As always, great marina..very clean...plenty of things to do and see in the area and great food!!

Arrived and found out that I had a serious transmission leak. Talked to the service department, they looked at it right away and found the problem. Minor issue, the pressure switch was leaking. They fixed it the next day so we could continue with our vacation. The second time I've been here, would come again.

Love the pool after a hot day sailing. Just a short walk to town. Good location.

Nice marina with efficient and helpful dockhands. Facilities were adequate and clean and the kids enjoyed the pool!

The dock staff were very kind, competent, and attentive. They were waiting for our arrival and extremely easy to communicate with. We will definitely return. The docks were in excellent condition and looked brand new. The water and power hook-ups were also ready and waiting for us. In addition, the walk to downtown Mystic was not long at all and in fact quite enjoyable.

Fabulous staff, super friendly. Would have been nice to know about no availability of diesel ahead of time. Bathrooms are very clean and nice shower.
