Location is really the primary strength of this marina. It did allow us to explore Charleston by bicycle very well, and that was what we wanted to do. There is also a new Publix (grocery) that is within pretty easy walking distance. The docks were floating, but just in OK condition. The showers were messy enough we chose not to use them and we are NOT that picky. The internet was hit or miss. We had the necessities (power, water, and a dock) in a good location for Charleston, but I would say that was about it. The dock workers were nice and considerate, which is always appreciated. The marina just needs some updating/attention. Bike racks were overloaded with old, rusty relics with flat tires. I would stay there again, but just expect the basic essentials. The location makes it worth it.
