About

The Stuart Corinthian Yacht Club (SCYC) is the treasure coast’s premier destination for friendship and fun both on and off the water. Our member-owned club has a 25-year history honoring the long-standing traditions of yacht clubs across the country. Our members enjoy an active social calendar and share a commitment to our community and the causes that affect our marine and boating lifestyle. Our casually elegant waterfront clubhouse and marina provide the perfect location for sharing fun-filled days and warm evenings with friends.

The Club is ideally located at the southeastern end of the Manatee Pocket in historic Port Salerno. Our marina allows for direct access to the Intracoastal Waterway for North/South cruising, bridge-free access to the St. Lucie Inlet and easy access to the Okeechobee Waterway for cruising to the West Coast of Florida.

Approach

The St. Lucie River and the Intracoastal Waterway (AICW) cross at a place near Mile Marker 877.5 called the Crossroads. When traveling on the Intracoastal Waterway or returning from the Atlantic through the St. Lucie Inlet proceed West on the St. Lucie River to Green marker 7. Adjacent to that mark is the entrance to Manatee Pocket at Sandsprit Park. Markers 1 and 2 show the entrance to “The Pocket.” If traveling East on the Okeechobee Waterway after crossing all or part of Florida use the same markers to find and enter Manatee Pocket. The pocket channel is dredged to an average of 8 – 9 feet. Proceed south past the large Hinckley Yacht Yard, bearing slightly left at marker 19 and Stuart Corinthian Yacht Club welcomes you at 12 o’clock.
