Report Review

We stopped at this marina by accident, because we have engine failure at Dry Tortugas and needed to stay somewhere at Key West to do the repairs, and Stock Island Marina Village has probably the best mechanic shop next door. The marina was quite pricey (what in Key West isn't?), but it was worth every penny. Brand new docks (apparently every boat docked there during Irma was safe and undamaged), wonderful facilities (showers, laundry room etc are air-conditioned), excellent Captain's lounge where we spent many hours hiding from the heat. You can use the adjacent hotel's swimming pool and three restaurants on the property, including our favorite De Lunas for breakfast and lunch. Very safe, very comfortable. The stuff helped us with everything we needed, including extra pump-outs, besides weekly ones, and docking/casting off. What we especially appreciated was that we could use the hotel's shuttle and go to Key West downtown and to Publix free of charge. We stayed there a month and will stay again.
