For over 50 years, Oldport Marine has been serving Newport harbor with a variety of services. We offer moorings, launch service, private charters, harbor tours, Diesel engine repairs, Yanmar Diesel parts sales and service, towing, salvage, and more. With our ability to accommodate vessels up to 65', we're thrilled to be your host for your next stay in Newport. Upon arrival, contact us on VHF channel 68, and our dedicated team will be readily available to assist you. Launch service is not included in the cost of the mooring.

Great people. Very accommodating with some last minute date changes, ran the launch off schedule for us to get us to the boat earlier than expected. Can’t say enough good things. We will be back.
Always a great experience with all the staff and tender operators. One suggestion: the moorings are getting pretty dirty and it's hard to see the numbers. Need a good cleaning half way through the season. Can't wait for next season.

Great instructions to find the mooring
Good Location, good info on how to find the mooring. Limited shore facilities and the $5 pp one way shuttle charge every time seemed pretty steep, even for Newport!
Great location and the floating mooring docks were a great surprise.
We've used Oldport for mooring stays for several years now. They recognize us and would accommodate us as best they could with their first come/first serve policy. With Dockwa, we can now make reservations...this is GREAT and this past weeks visit was terrific. We've already made future plans and will in the coming seasons.! UPDATE: another wonderful Labor Day Wkend with Oldport! Thanks again!!!

We arrived on a Monday for 3 nights and noticed available old port moorings near the yachting center where we usually pick one up. We were put way out on a private mooring near the fishing docks. I called the launch and requested a move because we had to attend a wake in town that evening only to be told they were all booked. Needless to say we were soaked and salty by the time we got to the Ann Street pier. During our stay those moorings we’re never occupied and I don’t understand why a move couldn’t have happened. We endured the smell of fish bait and fortunately the weather was perfect after the wind died down so we could cruise in the dingy for the rest of our stay. Can’t say I wasn’t disappointed with the mooring though.

Oldport personnel could not have been any more helpful. They ,along with the Harbor Masters office helped make our stay in Newport a positive one.

Very accommodating and responsive with our changes in plans. Launch drivers were fabulous and prompt. Only problem was pennant line eyes were too small for our boat and we needed to "jury rig" to make it work. Thanks for a nice stay in Newport.

Hailed on 68 when we arrived and they showed us the mooring location. No facilities but very responsive shuttles to get you ashore if you don't want to use your dinghy. Newport is always a little bit of a loud zoo (well into in the night) in the summer but that's part of the attraction I guess.
Newport is a great spot. Old Port Launch operators are very good.
Beware of wedding parties and a loud band on the dock. They play til 11 pm!! Great if you like to stay up! Loudest mooring we have ever stayed on.

Mark at Oldport was extremely helpful in sorting out my reservation hiccup, which in all fairness was most likely my fault from misspelling my boat's name Remedy with an n vice m. They are adjacent on the keyboard. Good customer service is an asset to any business and that's what we got.

As always, warmly welcomed and quickly accommodated. Launch service was top notch. No Dallas Cowboy cheerleader welcome but the marching band and unlimited access to the hot tub made up for it.

Slightly misleading, they only mention that launch service and amenities are pay to play after you've checked in. The launch operator didn't even tell us until he dropped us off. We would've just taken the dinghy if we knew. Just a few bucks but feeling deceived and the principal bothered me.
Great that advanced reservations are now possible. Note the marina details show where their rental morning field is, but we were assigned to a mooring that was literally on the opposite side of the harbor. Much further that we thought we’d be, from town, but still a good time.
