The staff were really great. Tyler and Ben specifically were just absolutely wonderful. Ben, the dock master didn't hesitate to let us arrive a little early to come during slack tide and Tyler is a great dock hand with a great attitude. The rest of the stay was a bit disappointing and not on par with their rates. There is an extensive amount of construction going on, docks falling apart, no water at the slip, power outage, wifi out/extremely slow during the week we were there. Cell service is spotty up there so we had spells without wifi where we couldn't communicate with our family who were staying on the beach side of town. A large portion of the boats docked here look as if they have been there a while and are at the end of their lives. The location is beautiful but pretty far from most places if you don't have a car. This was the only marina on the island that had a slip available but it was apparent why they had the open slips. In the future, this could be a great place to stay but it just isn't there yet. The restaurant on site is nice and has a great coffee bar and "convenient store." There is also a pool that is a mile away, open to marina guests after getting a day pass. Facilities are minimal and ok. No captains lounge. Fuel dock is in a great spot for easy access but we didn't need any. I wouldn't stay here again and couldn't really recommend this place in it's current state and cost but they are definitely working hard to improve the place.
