Located on the west side of the Park Street Bridge Reach between Oakland and Alameda, the Park Street Bascule Bridge carries vehicular traffic between the two towns.

Characteristics: The Park Street Bascule has a 15-foot closed vertical clearance with 139 feet of horizontal clearance in the center span. Project depths in the reach are 15 feet and higher.

The bridge operates on a restricted opening schedule.

The bridge will open on demand 24 hours a day, except from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. and from 3:45 p.m. and 5:45 p.m., when the bridge remains closed.
