I love riverside and have been the biggest supporter! This year I am leaving but I will be there all the time to support and get a transit slip. Yevonne did an amazing job and made great improvements. We will love her at riverfront marina now. As far as the new owners I'm am positive he will do a great job he is a great person and has a different vision. So bashing eachother and causing a divide is not what boating is about. We all can work together. We all still gonna hang so cut the shit. Yall talking bad on my girl and putting this mans business out here. People make mistakes and shouldn't be crucified for it. I was previously a resident at riverside marina for several years and to be honest I left because its overpriced and not very well maintained The city of Detroit (The OWNERS of this property)needs to do a better job when selecting management! One of the previous managers did a good job as well as their team, the other former manager tried to confiscate boats illegally using his towing company at one point luckily he has been reduced to just a boater at the facility now. As the 2020 season approaches we have a previous manager taking over who recently completed a Federal prison sentence for Fraud, im not sure how the city of Detroit allows a convicted felon to handle residents sensitive information like bank acct info or any personal info for that matter. Hopefully somebody does some repairs to this property and bring it back to its glory. in closing I would like to say whomever treasure is that review is very distasteful and not factual at all! Iv'e been docked at Riverside for about 5 years now. I love it. Iv'e did a couple of nights at other marinas in the area and Riverside does it better. There are events for the boaters, Dock parts, Not to mention auctions that got me my first boat.

I am extremely pissed! We had an event booked for Oct 20th with the Riverside Marina Located at 11000 Freud Detroit, MI 48214. We payed all the money that was required 2 weeks ago! Today the Marina called and said "We can't give you that day because someone else booked it and we didn't know"????????? First off that shit makes no sense, Secondly how can you do this to someone who has payed for catering, planning, event staff and etc. We are now outta money and time, how is this possible?
