About

Falmouth Marine is one of the area’s most well-known and longest tenured full service waterfront marinas. We are situated on the western shore of Falmouth’s inner harbor and feature 15 slips and 15 moorings, which are split between seasonal and transient. Our transient moorings/slips are available through Dockwa (we are the sole Marina offering transient moorings in Falmouth's Inner Harbor). Our convenient location offers easy and fast access out of the harbor and into Vineyard and Nantucket Sounds which offer access to the Elizabeth Islands, Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket and more. Falmouth Marine is within a short walk (under 5 minutes) to several area restaurants, the Windfall Market (a great local grocery store which also carries a vast local selection of beer and wine) and West Marine. Our friendly dock staff is happy to help coordinate your stay as we offer concierge services along with grocery delivery (via Windfall). We also offer indoor and outdoor storage, hauling/launching with our 70 ton Travelift, gasoline and diesel sales, engine service, electrical and electronics repair and installation, painting, varnish and wood work, cleaning/detailing and shrinkwrapping. We are also the home base for the Falmouth - Edgartown Ferry. As a family owned business we pride ourselves on the long standing tenure of our team members and the relationships we build with our customers. Come experience the Falmouth Marine difference.

Approach

From R "16" proceed northerly to the harbor entrance. The harbor entrance has lighted jetties on both sides, although the western jetty is longer and both are mildly angled. The main channel in Falmouth Harbor runs north/south on the westerly side of the mooring field. Falmouth Marine is located on the western shore of the harbor. All of our slips are oriented for bow in docking and are along our bulkhead. Our moorings are immediately adjacent to our property on the eastern side of the harbor channel. Please hail us on channel 9 or 68 upon your approach so that we may direct you to your reserved mooring/slip.

Protected harbor. Helpful guy at gas dock. Shower was very clean. WiFi does not reach moorings.

First time in Falmouth by boat. In town for Road Race, staff very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are top notch and dock space is easy to enter and leave. Close to restaurants, West Marine, and an excellent grocery store! Highly recommend.

Not very happy. Stuffed in a little corner behind the gas dock in the shadow of the MV ferry that never shuts its loud diesels off. Disappointed. Wont be returning.

There was a little confusion when we got there. Someone else was in our slip. They moved us and it all worked out. The internet was very slow and there were no bathrooms. The docks were shaky and all splintered. The buildings need paint. All in all not a good review. Still had fun in Falmouth.

Moorings were not clearly numbered and did not go in consecutive order. Moorings are too close together and we were hit by another boat. There is no launch services and we were not informed of that until we could not get off our boat. Needed to purchase a dinghy at local marine store to be able to use the mooring.
