We are located on the beautiful, peaceful Okeechobee (Intracoastal) Waterway. This waterway was built and finished in 1937 and provides a water route across Florida. Instead of traveling around the southern end of the state, boaters can navigate this waterway to travel east–west. This waterway is approximately 154 miles long and stretches from the Atlantic Ocean near Stuart, Florida to the Gulf of Mexico in Fort Myers. It is the only river and canal system in Florida that joins the east coast to the west coast.
You are in for a pleasant and unusual trip through the heart of Old Florida. It goes through miles of untouched Florida Everglades and through beautiful ranch land. You will get to see amazing sites and nature’s beauty.
low key marina and friendly people. Within a few miles is ace hardware , walmart, tractor supply and restaurants. Fuel on site. Restroom with shower located on the main building. I was here for a little over a month making some repairs and down time.
What a Hidden Gem of a Marina. Park like, Clean, Peaceful Community. The Staff Shawna and Kaylee were so accommodating and great Hosts! If You have an opportunity to stay, You'll Love it! Angelo A. Vecchiarelli and Brenda Carmona
No, we spent about 10mo at Port Labelle. My biggest complaint was that it is an 'Old Fashion Florida Marina' and for those of us who pulled in just before hurricane season and had no idea that it meant no water or power on the dock. A great issue is with a dirt road and people trying to set speed records on it which deposits the dirt on your boat, water would be nice. The staff is great, and the location isn't bad'.
A beautiful, calm, quiet place. Wonderful, helpful dock master
Quiet and friendly. Docks in good shape. No power.
Remains a beautiful location, just don't expect more than a solid dock. Contract rate increased by 65% and no proportional improvement in site physical state or amenities. They lost swimming pool access. WIFI range short, will not reach your boat. Safe hurricane hole. Hotel next door houses addiction recovery program, so no bar. Nothing within biking or walking distance. Only one unisex bathroom now and washer/dryer no longer free to use. Remains a beautiful location, just don't expect more than a solid dock.
It provided a place for our escape from Hurricane Ian / Fort Myers.
Ran our boat up to ride out hurricane Ian. Very good hurricane hole located between locks on the Okeechobee Waterway. Very well built docks with heavy pilings. No power or water but for a hurricane hole it is fantastic. It saved our boat without a doubt. Kailey is great and is very accommodating. Very pet friendly as well. Will be back for the next storm.
Great hurricane hole. Lots of strong pilings and a long finger pier for each slip. Fresh water canal with locks at each end protect you from any storm sirge. The dockmaster is friendly and helpful. But no electric or water available.
Shonna and Kailey were each friendly, professional and competent. The marina is working on improvements to their facilities, and I expect each, time I visit, it will be a better experience. Peaceful and very pleasant refuge from the urban clutter.
Dealing with the front office is amazing. Thank you Kailey for all your help!
Kallie was a pleasant young woman who helped us at the last minute when we could not make it thru the Ortona lock in time . Easy in. easy out. Never saw less than 6 '. We are 40' and draw 4'. Basic facility, no water/electricity, OK to run generator. Beautiful rural surrounding, Gators in the basin. Best part $1.00/ft
Pleasant personnel. Rustic facility. Beautiful rural setting.
It is a very sheltered and nice place. They lack power and water needs to be brought to the boat in canisters in most places. But it is great for the price. Solar on your boat is a plus or you have to run your generator to charge up the, batteries or run AC. Overall a good experience.
This is a simple, bare bones place. The water was a little skinny getting in (we draft 4.5). We ended up fueling and staying at the fuel dock overnight. There is no electricity at the docks and the facilities are dated and worn. But, the staff was great and I know they have high hopes for the future of the marina. Nice stop along the Okeechobee route.
