We extend a cordial welcome to Sea Cliff and the facilities of the Sea Cliff Yacht Club. Our Club was founded for the purpose of promoting social activities, yachting and other aquatic sports, but it has evolved into so much more. We offer a family friendly environment for our members to socialize in a casual atmosphere that many would call their home away from home.
We strive to make all of our visitors feel welcome, and our Membership and Staff will always be ready to assist in any way during your visit. For your convenience we have listed some information on Club services and protocols to make your visit more enjoyable.
Our moorings are available to all boaters, but we are a private club. We reserve the right to limit use of our restaurant, bar, and swimming pool to our members and guests and members of yacht clubs with reciprocal privileges.
Friendly people. Service was great. Nice morning relaxing at the pool. We'll be back.
Dockmaster Frankie and his staff of launch operators are wonderful. They are so helpful and I’d rate them number ONE on the Long Island Sound! This is a very friendly yacht club. The place is always clean and they have a nice beach. We enjoy walking and you can walk in to the town of Sea Cliff or Glen Cove.
We enjoyed our time, however, as soon as we got in the pool, it was closing due to swim meet. Snack bar offerings were good. The morning of our departure the launch was late and we needed to get puppy ashore, a Good Samaritan, an off duty launch driver, came to our rescue. We look forward to our next visit
Overall, a very nice stay. The club is busy and fun. Only issue was the launch was supposed to start at 8:00 am. We called at 8:00 to take our dog ashore and got no response. After repeated calls by us and another boat with a dog, a very nice man named Robert kayaked into the club from his moored boat, got the launch and picked us up. Super nice guy who couldn’t stop apologizing on the club’s behalf. He refused our tip. When the regular driver finally arrived, he didn’t apologize for being late. We will be happy to stay here again.
Sea Cliff YC is a friendly, family oriented club with many nice amenities. The pool is clean and watched by attentive life guards. There is a snack bar with excellent foods ranging from hamburgers to lobster rolls. The bar offers well made drinks and a variety of beers. The guest moorings are slightly exposed to channel traffic so a lighter boat may experience some rolling when power boats pass by. But it’s a quit harbor at night and a pleasure to stay at. I will definitely come back in the future.
We were with the Liberty Yacht Club flotilla. The yacht club was very accommodating. Bring cash for tips.
Wonderful club. Beautiful setting, nice pool, well-kept and well-appointed, friendly and accommodating staff (launch ops), invigorating walk up the hill to town for shopping and dining. Guest moorings are on the edge of the mooring field and channel so can be a bit bumpy when there's traffic. We greatly enjoyed our experience and we'll be back.
Got here with a 25-30 knot wind from the sw Tied up to a mooring Was pleasantly surprised with a comfortable night despite the wind and rain Response on ch 9 was great
Moorings well maintained. Great service from Scott on the launch, and even some extra help/advice on a problem with our dinghy outboard.
Lovely little club. Very friendly staff & people. Enjoyed our stay greatly. Kevin, the dock master made our trip all the more memorable.
