Huron Harbor |
Located on the Huron River, a short boat ride past the iconic Huron Lighthouse. The Huron Boat Basin features an amphitheater which hosts Saturday evening live concerts during the season, Sunday evening entertainment and Wednesday "Movies on the River." A beautiful setting compliments the welcoming small-town atmosphere. 125 slips with 60 transient slips. Includes seasonal dockage, transient dockage, 30 amp. electric hookup, water hookup, restrooms and showers. Easy walking distance to various restaurants, bars and the Huron Lighthouse and Pier.
The boat basin was easy to find, very clean and close to several attractions. We loved it and plan to return.
This is a wonderful facility. Clean and plentiful showers. Pretty, well kept grounds. Although I never met any staff because everything was done on line, I was well informed how everything worked. Groceries, hardware store, and two ice cream stands in walking distance. What more do you need? There is a swell running through the marina so the boat was almost never quiet.
A very nice marina. I have stayed 4 different times and every one was perfect. Clean facilities, great location, and easy check in.
Very quiet and very clean
Such a great place to hang out. Marina is beautiful and the little town is awesome. A few places to shop, eat and enjoy the fabulous summer day.
Picturesque marine right in town. Dock hands were excellent and helped us tie up without any problems. Spent 2 nights and listened to a good band at the marina’s amphitheater. Good restaurants close by including the Harbor House. Not a lot of shopping but definitely worth a couple of nights to visit and explore.
Great marina, awesome weekend celebrating Riverfest!
Another fun weekend at Huron’s Boat Basin during River Fest. We had a promo slip assignment for enjoying the fireworks. Thanks for a great experience.
The boat basin was a wonderful and convenient place to keep our boat during our stay. Everyone is always so helpful and kind and it makes our fun so much more pleasant and enjoyable!
Always clean! Always helpful! The staff are all very friendly, hard working and great at their job! This is always our “go to” marina when we want a relaxing weekend…the near by beach and restaurants are an extra bonus!
Nice marina, nice town, nice people, good music!
Clean, beautiful, and in the heart of Huron with restaurants and bars within a quick walk.
Nice docks and facility. Beautiful view of the channel. Close to restaurants and bars.
Great location, very clean facility. Dock hand was very helpful & friendly. One of our favorite spots!
Great facility, staff and dockhands. Very accommodating. Clean restrooms and showers.
Awesome, fun place. Great staff, wonderful clean facility.
Great place to stay. Great views of the river and was close to everything in town. The only drawback is the heavy train traffic. Horns sounding at all hours.
Was able to stay another night for fireworks and band. Perch basket was best I ever had. Staff always helps dock and tie boat up.
Always the best! Been going there for decades and somehow Doug always finds a way to find great staff when no one else can. We stayed Fri - Sun. Was a large rendezvous there this weekend so expected restrooms/showers to be ugly the mornings after. Not so. Took a shower this morning and it was spotless clean as were restrooms all weekend! The band in the amphitheater Saturday, “Rollin out of Cleveland” was outstanding, to top off a perfect weekend! Thank you Huron and see y’all soon!
Very clean & quiet marina within walking distance to shops & restaurants
Excellent marina located in the center of Huron, OH. Diesel is available just south at Huron Yacht Club which fuel dock is adjacent to the river. On 1 July, I paid $3.50/gallon, non-member price. On approach river depth is 30 feet and was cluttered with debris from recent weather systems turning up the river. Entry to the marina is a sharp right into a small turning basin, so via channel 9, announce arrival and prepare your lines/fenders prior to entry. Fairway width appears to be 40 feet and slips are marked. On pier “H” water depth is 10.5 ft. The features that set this marina above others include; docking support; excellent WIFI; excellent restroom and shower facilities; nearby eateries, Comfort Inn and beaches; and, Market Huron .5 mi walk. This historic town displays signage to describe its notable history which began in 1809. I enjoyed the Gathering Grounds Coffee House.
Very accommodating and made everything so easy. That’s a great dock!
Awesome place. Here’s what I liked: Dock hands came out to greet us and helped us dock. The were so friendly and polite to us. This Marina is beautiful. Restrooms , showers are 5 stars. Grounds were in amazing. They have free coffee and a nice ships store. When I went to buy ice the dock hands brought it to me Restaurants were within walking distance. They even have a stage where we listened a great band. They have gas and free pump outs. I will be returning.
Always great service at HBB. Helpful staff, and clean facilities.
Floating docks are in great shape and restrooms and showers are clean and well-kept. They answer on VHF 16 and we’re always quick to give a hand when coming in or out. Non-ethanol fuel is nearby but not in this marina. Doug, marina manager, obviously cares about his work and I thought it was reflected in his staff. Added bonus for me is a Comfort Inn adjacent to marina. Much more comfortable than my boat for a couple of nights!
