The City of Vallejo Municipal Marina is at the north end of the Downtown Marina Waterfront, close to the Mare Island Causeway. Located in a prime location between the San Francisco Bay and the Delta, the Vallejo Marina is the perfect place to berth for short-term, long-term, and more permanent stays.
The Marina has 670 slips, 35 of which are covered. Slip lengths range from 20-110 feet.
Only got gate code. Everything is great. The marina guest dock is easy to dock at.
The marina staff was friendly and helpful. The dock was easy to find and moor to. The showers were not always available, for some reason or other the out of order sign was up at one or the other of the bathrooms/showers during my 3 days there. On Sunday afternoon and evening for 7 hours there was a deafening concert from Mare Island, not the marina’s fault but it was a problem. The only grocery store is over a mile away.
Guest dock was easy to access and the restaurant next to it was pretty good. Bathrooms are ok, shower on the moldy side. Staff was polite and helpful. Dockwa reservation was easy.
Marina personnel was great, but the bathroom facility was deplorable. Homeless people come in and out and trash the bathroom. It was unsanitary and disgusting. The harbor is severely silted where half of the north harbor is showing mud and during low tide the depth at the entrance is less than 3 feet.
Great facilities. Good location. Super friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.
The dock was nice. Power and water were easy to access. Both employees we spoke with ( Brielle and Jeremy) were kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. The unleaded gas was out of service, and there is a neighborhood problem with drugs and homeless. Do not let kids go outside the gates unsupervised. Be prepared for restroom facilities to be occupied by crack and meth addicts. This is beyond the control of the staff, for whom I have much sympathy.
This Marina is in an amazing location. A lot of fresh water is coming down the Napa River. It was high tide right at dark and the striper were destroying the shad or minnows couldn't tell. It went on for hours. The guest docks have been dredged don't know about the rest of the marina. Not a lot of big sailboats in there. The price was pretty good $35 for a 35 ft sailboat for one night. Unfortunately the marina is in bad shape. But the staff with super helpful and friendly. Vallejo is a wonderful City and you can get the best Chinese food on Florida Street.
