The Northeast 14th Street Bascule Bridge is located at Intracoastal Mile Marker 1055.0 in Pompano Beach. The bridge has a 15-foot closed vertical clearance with 90 feet of horizontal clearance at the center span and a restricted closing schedule. The bridge opens on the hour and half-hour from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on demand at all other times.

Depending on schedule, the bridge can be opened by horn signal (one long, one short) or by hailing the bridge tender on VHF Channel 09. (All bridges in the state of Florida must be hailed on VHF Channel 09.)
