The Village restaurant has been moved to the Marina. It is floating and offers a panoramic view of the lake while you enjoy your meal and the company of friends.

On hot days you may choose to enjoy the air-conditioning inside, although you always have the option of sitting outside for an even more enjoyable experience of the location.

The restaurant features country cooking, really great breakfast meals and, on occasion, a pot luck for everyone. This usually coincides with a blues, bluegrass, or gospel evening. If you strum, pick, bow or sing, come on down! Saturday nights can be set aside for scheduled or just impromptu performances.



The Marina has a floating restaurant, multiple fuel docks, and both low and high octane gasoline. We are located at mile marker 33.0 L, and are on a deep water cross channel from the deep water river chanel. Look for the high-intensity strobe lite at the marina.

The Marina has over 100 Slips, taking care of boats up to fifty-five feet. A majority of the short- term slips are for boats up to 30 feet. A parking area for boats and boat trailers is provided free of charge for registered tenants of the village if you choose not to rent a slip. Boats may not be left on the bank overnight.

Courtesy slips are available at the marina for both restaurant customers and short term visiting. Boat rentals may be arranged through the marina manager. We cooperate with multiple marinas in order to better assure you of a boat for your needs. Register for this service when you book your reservation.

There is no ramp fee for registered tenants.

Long term boat slip rentals are available.


The Southern Komfort Campground features quiet relaxation, security and quiet, great location on Kentucky Lake and quiet, full service facilities and quiet. By now you got the picture -- it’s quiet.

Call for a reservation no more than two weeks before you plan to arrive. We will always have a spot for you, or will sure try. If you need multiple sites for a family camping reunion, call up to a month in advance. Boat slips are available for campers, either on a sort or long term basis. A price list is available for camping and marina rates.

Some pets are permitted, call for details. Fishing is permitted from the fishing pier, which is open all night.


Lodging is available in the Village with one, two or three bedroom cottages. We also have one four bedroom unit which, like the 3 bedroom unit, can be rented for a week at a time. The 1 and 2 bedroom units may be rented for shorter periods. Visit our website and click on the “price list” for pricing, deposit, and refund details.

Some breeds of dogs are permitted while cats are not permitted. Call for details if you plan on bringing a pet.

All the cabins are within walking distance of the marina and restaurant although the distance does range from 200 yards to 500 yards. Parking is available in the marina parking lot.

The cabins all have complete kitchens, linnens, air conditioning and, if the wind is blowing right and you can stand on one leg and the trees are bare, a lake view.

The Southern Komfort Mobile Home Village offers some unique options for your consideration: you may rent a lot, purchase a lot, or build a permanent structure on a purchased lot; You may purchase an existing mobile home and lot, if available.

Each lot either rented or purchased includes marina access for the owner. All tenants and owners are given first consideration for rental of boat slips.

The lots feature city water, sewer, cable and phone services. A Homeowners Association has been formed.


Southern Komfort Village is expanding. We have set aside sixty acres of wooded lots for development of a restricted village. The lots may be as small as one half acre, or up to five acres.

The current development stage features lots on a county maintained blacktop road, city water and electrical service along the road. In addition, each lot sold has, within the deed, a statement of marina access.

A quality builder is on site, or you may use the builder of choice.
