Octane: 87;Pebble Isle is a full service marina and it's Grey Heron Grill is located on the river. It has a great view with wonderful food. Owned and operated by McBird Enterprises, LLC.
We had a wonderful stay. Had to get some boat parts so the courtesy vehicle was invaluable. Billy was great, was on dock to help us fuel and pumpout. And then also to deliver those famous cinnamon buns each morning. The whole marina is very neat and tidy and well kept! We rode our bikes to Johnsonville Historic State Park which was very interesting and worth seeing.
Staff was very friendly & helpful. Loved the courtesy car!
Great location, great docks and exceptional staff. We were coming in a bit late and they waited so we could get fuel (did I mention the fuel prices are the some of the lowest in the area). Staff hung around helped with fuel/docking and did not make us feel the least bit uncomfortable. Afterward we had a drink on the dock with one of the owners (I apologize as I didn't get his name) who was very pleasant and accommodating and if you can believe it delivered freshly made cinnamon buns the next day. Over all a great place to stop, recharge, refuel and get ready for the next day!!
Amazing owners and staff….Billy is a man to meet !!!!! Loaner car, laundry and showers. The cinnamon rolls are amazing and they deliver them to your door!!!!! This is a great stop. Follow the channel markers !!!!!
The marina is in a gorgeous location and is one of the most protected we have experienced. The Johnsonville State Historic Park is right there and worthy of some good hiking. The visitors center has a Civil War Museum that is worth a visit. Although we did not use the courtesy car, fellow boaters did. Loved the fresh, warm cinnamon rolls delivered to the boat in the morning by one of the marina owners. Great stop!
Nice folks, hard working & very accommodating. Loaner vehicle much appreciated as well as the great cinnamon rolls. Thank you!
Great fuel prices and great docking assistance. Unfortunately, the restaurant is only open during the summer.
wonderful dock staff and amazing cinnamon rolls every morning
Nice facility. Good diesel price. A bit shallow for our 4 ft. Draft, but managed. Sticky buns in the morning is a nice touch! Thanks Billy!
Great people, nice docks. Just a very relaxing spot.
Nice marina! Good water pressure, no voltage drop on the 50 amp service, nice docks and very friendly staff. The approach was very well marked. Excellent cinnamon bun in the morning! Would definitely stay again.
Helpful friendly staff. Good restrooms and showers and laundry. Don’t miss the markers on the approach! State park next door has trails and history. Loaner car available.
Staff was wait for us and helped tie up and then asked if we needed their loaner car.
Great place to ride out the storm. Nice staff, secure docks, nice bathrooms and use of courtesy car. Highly recommend a stay here, even without the cinnamon rolls.
Great stop! Clearly marked entry channel and nice docks and facilities. We radioed the marina and the owners came out to tie us up. Had a great chat with them, very friendly. Clean courtesy car that we used to visit the Johnsonville state park for some Civil War history. AGLCA discount too! Plus they brought to our boat fresh baked cinnamon rolls for our departure. Definitely a must stop. Be sure to check their fuel prices before filling up elsewhere.
Great place to stop. Billy the dock master was awsome. If there is a negitive the womens bath shower did not drain well. Standing water.....
The stay was nice and Jacob was great. He helped us with fuel before scheduled opening
Pleasant folks and a good pub/restaurant. Well marked deep water entry
Great marina and great people! Very helpful even though we were arriving on Christmas Eve. Super hot showers were a nice bonus!
Great! Loved how well marked the channel is into the marina plus Billy is awesome! Can’t beat that fuel price plus use of the courtesy van!!
Billy, Senior Harbormaster, was awesome! So friendly and kind. We planned to leave early in the morning so he asked if I would be able to bake the famous Pebble Isle cinnamon buns myself. Yup. He delivered them to the boat and I baked them myself. My cabin smells delicious! Used the courtesy car to run into town for groceries and pizza. Great stop!
Great stop! Thanks for the awesome cinnamon rolls! As long as you take it easy going in and follow the well-marked channel, it's easy in and out.
Great stop on the Tennessee River and good mexican restaurant close by with the use of the courtesy car provided by the marina.
Well-marked entrance, great price on fuel, friendly staff, courtesy car. Terrific stop.
Was a bit shallow but staff helped us get docked and provided a courtesy van for 4 boats to go exploring and enjoying a dinner together. I was looking forward to the morning cinnamon rolls but alas the crews wanted to get underway early due to impending weather, maybe next time. Would go there again.
Billy, the harbormaster was awesome. He made homemade cinnamon rolls for all of the transient yes. Very kind. He even stayed late on a Sunday night to help us fuel when we got in after closing time.
Nice Marina. Short stay but they had a courtesy car for provisioning. Mmmm cinnamon rolls. Billy is the consummate host.
Outstanding people! Billy was awesome and helpful and makes delish cinnamon buns. Lovely stay enjoyed it!
Friendly staff. Courtesy car very clean. State Park and Museum very interesting.
Great dock crew, didn’t go to the restaurant but will next time we are there
Treated us like gold. Needed the loaner Car for Doctors appointment and restock had it for all afternoon no problem. Good fuel price and the fresh Cinamin roll in the morning topped it all off.
A fantastic overnight stop. Bob was very welcoming. We appreciated the use of the van to get a few groceries. The deliciously fresh cinnamon buns are outstanding. We enjoyed a 7 km hike in the nearby state park…Johnsville Historic state park
Easy entry and exit. Stayed on fuel dock. Bob was still there even after close to assist if we needed it. Fuel, water, and pump out next morning at 8. And who can forget the fresh baked cinnamon buns! No AGLCA discount on fuel but has BoatUS if you ask for it. Would stay again.
Great marina! Billy was a great host. Marked channel all the way in made it very easy to follow. We were offered the van to use to make a quick run to Walmart Nice areas to walk the pups. Saw 6ft at the dock. Very protective marina\n
such a nice place with friendly people. One of my favorite places to stop.
Take the well-marked channel to Pebble Isle. Long transient dock, clean showers shared with RV park. Laundry. Courtesy car. The restaurant was closed during the week. Nice folk. Scott and Teresa GREEN EYES
Great stop would have enjoyed another day there however we needed to keep going south. Definitely would recommend this marina.
Thanks for the courtesy car! See ya next time Billy!
The young ladies working as dock hands need a fire set under them! We called and asked for help tying up our very large boat and they were slowly coming out of the office as we are at the dock! The boater next door came out to help!!!! They were clueless but sure wanted to wait for their tip!
Great stop. Nice marina, great service and amazing cinnamon buns. Thanks Billy.
Great stay at Pebble Isle Marina. Easy reservations via Dockwa, well-marked entry channel, and Bob’s hospitality made getting there easy. The cinnamon rolls on the morning of departure made it hard to leave.
Good location, restaurant, courtesy car and cinnamon rolls in the morning. Diesel 2.99 also. Billy and his group do a good job and made the stay pleasant. At winter pool, we did see a couple areas of 6’ water.
Everything was great except the bathroom facilities...only 2 showers without any privacy. Women do not like to show their “business” to other women!
