The Galleon Marina

Very nice resort marina. Everyone was so welcoming and nice. Would love to come back.

The Galleon is always a great stay! Dock master is amazing! Staff is awesome! I like staying here when we go to Key West for a couple reasons. First off if you get placed on the long dock the views are simply amazing. Also due to the little walkway that walks back to this area it isn't a heavily traveled tourist area. Even the marina right next door the entry to the dock gets cluttered with people walking the boardwalk where this is more only locals and just the people transiting. The bar is awesome out back as is the pool and there is even a tiny beach you can use. Grills and other amenities are also available. Thanks guys as always! Can't wait to come back and wouldn't stay anyplace else.

No doubt Galleon is pricey - but it's worth it! Great facilities, floating docks, pool , tiki bar and great dock staff. Best key west location for all the downtown bars and restaurants. Everything is within a short walking distance . I've been here several times and with any luck I will return many more times.

Prompt and professional

Galleon is our preferred marina in Key West. They have floating docks, good power and water and give access to the resort facilities including the pool, gym and showers. They provide pump-out service for $10. The sea wall keeps the marina protected from wakes. Like the other marinas in the bite, the proximity to Duval Street is great.

Whats there to say? Its the best in town and priced accordingly. Where else do you have single slips between two full length piers. Very convenient.

Excellent marina, great amenities

Very nice facility but I will agree with the service animal post below. I was walking through the parking garage with my service dog, and the guy in the little info booth went nuts. I told him that he better back off if he doesn’t want to be owned by me in federal court. He acted like he was calling the police and I continued walking back to my boat. Other than this one douche bag, no one else said anything about my dog and he was always with me so there were plenty of opportunities to. Just the guy in the cute little info booth.

Team was professional and warm, location was great! We loved it!

We were placed in a slip at the end of a narrow chanel which was not easy to get into, and even harder to get out of. Required extended dock lines and assistance from Galleon crew to get us out. The Galleon crew were most helpful and friendly.

Beautiful spot in a great location, but poor internet service made it extremely difficult to work from my boat.

Great Location. Clean showers. The sauna and fitness center was not available due to COVID. Great dock staff.

Very accommodating with changes in our arrival and departure due to weather and winds. We really enjoyed our stay at The Galleon. The floating docks make it so easy from docking to simply getting on and off your boat.

I docked here after 2018 Key West race. Slips and Docks were spotless despite the hurricane a few weeks prior. A capable dockhand/manager was at the ready to help us snug up and give us a quick orientation. 🙌

Things to note for this marina: •Larger vessel could be put into a small slip, in our case a 60ft into a 45ft slip. They did offer to move us when space became available, but i would have wanted to know this before our arrival. Important info for a operator. •Pump outs don’t happen before 10:30-11 because of resort noise restrictions around the resort and they will not pump out on the day of your departure, small holding tanks beware. •Dock is very long, if you get put on the end there is no easy way off the dock if you are not ambulatory or have older guests or owners. •Wifi is ok, not great.

Stayed 2 weeks. Internet did not work for the first week, I had to call the provider to get it resolved. There was a bad cable under the dock that the management knew about for over a month the provider indicated. Pump out took an average of 1 hour to accomplish and marina refused to pump our tank the day we departed.

Don’t know where these other reviews come from. Yes it’s pricey. You know that going in. I’ve seen other people with animals. No issues they said ??? Love the service. Love the fact there is concrete on each side of my boat. Tom Cindy and Corey are great. Can’t find a fault at all. Going back again.

Great marina. A little difficult getting in/out. Very nice pool and marina is close to everything. Need a bit more water pressure in showers. Dock master staff very helpful and friendly.

BEWARE! On January 19th 2019 around midnight police responded to a call at The Galleon in Key West Florida regarding illegal discrimination against a service animal and her owner. As we were was walking our trained and marked service animal, resort staff repeatedly informed us we were unable to walk our service dog across the resort property. When informing them this was an actual service animal (not emotional support), they still insisted it was not allowed on property. When we were forced to walk back across this property later that evening (as it is impossible to not get to our vessel without walking on this resort dock) we were again informed we were not permitted to walk the dog on resort property. We were NOT using their grounds for a bathroom for the service animal and they repeatedly accused us that we didn't have a bag. After informing them that we were simply stationed at the marina docks, and not using their property as a urinal, the security guard became very irate and police were called and a report was filed so as to have records of the incidents about the service dog illegal limitations. After police arrived and they informed management they had to let us pass due to federal law about service animals. The next morning the management staff again harrassed us regarding our service animal. Greg, senior management, asked if we had the dog at every point when walking off property and that because we had left the dog on the boat that someone was obviously not disabled. While becoming confrontational Greg was then approached by an unleashed and untrained dog who proceeded to urinate in front of him. This didn't cease his humiliating behavior towards us and our service dog.

My review is from 4 years ago as well. So we were there for fantesy Fest and showed up late on a sunday. Even though they where full this marina Found something for us. (For this alone they get passing grade!) nice facility: clean, friendly helpful staff, constant security but a little expensive. walking distance to everything And deep water. Four stars because while it is nice the marina, they are on the expensive side. I have been to nicer marinas at the same cost but this place has the Location. Keep In mind this is from four years ago. I agrea with alfa1023 but only say 4 stars.

We spent 3 nights at the Galleon last week. Very nice facility: clean, friendly helpful staff, constant security over dock area, nice pool (except water temp was hot), nice showers and bathrooms. Not cheap, but not bad considering you are in Key West and close to Duval Street and all the activities. A big plus are the floating docks - no worry about spring lines, etc. You have a finger dock on either side of your boat.
