First time staying at Fort Rachel! The dock hands were on hand to direct us and get us tied and hooked up with power!! Julie the manager sent us detailed instructions which I was blown away by! She also came out to greet us!! Everyone was so friendly!! And helpful. Can’t wait to return next year!!’

Great location, great people - a marine experience like the "good old days". Train bridge opening and passing train noise are really not an issue.

All the staff are always so pleasant and helpful at Fort Rachel Marina. And they are very responsive and friendly in the way they answer e-mail questions. This is our second time here and we’re looking forward to being back for a week in August.

Found the staff to be friendly and accommodating, and the scenic location and accessibility to downtown Mystic was ideal. Although it was short; we really enjoyed our stay at Fort Rachel and would consider booking it again when visiting the area.

5-stars. don't give them too often but you guys get one. nothing to point out...ALL was great: staff, facility, LOCATION (even if on the 'other' side of the train bridge..) the marina's proximity to town is much better than marina's on the other side of the tracks (shorter distance to town)...we brought bikes to get around... hope to see ya all again!

Simply great operation

Very clean marina,accommodating staff. We brought my Lab and Dave switched us last minute to a slip so he could get off the boat easily. Great location and quiet marina.

We would heartily recommend the facility. They had three guys come help us dock in the pouring rain who were as cheerful as if it were a sunny day. The amenities are great and they are an easy walk to “downtown” Mystic.

Our first visit by boat to Mystic! Reservation process smooth and quick. Location and layout of docks most convenient to river - a short, pleasant walk to town. Marina staff unquestionably the friendliest we encountered on our two-week summer sail! Every person we met had a smile and a good word. Dock hands were there before we knew it to assist (and to compliment) our docking!

Excellent marina! Met us at the dock as we were coming in. Super personable. Made sure we were all set before they left. Great bathrooms and walking distance to town. Highly recommend!

A+++ If I could give it a billion stars I would. Fort Rachel is excellent, the facility is top notch, the people and management are so friendly and the facilities are new and so clean. My only regret is we didn’t stay longer.

Needed unexpected maintenance during our vacation and Fort Rachel Marina couldn't have been nicer or more hard working! While the parts took forever to arrive (thanks to the COVID backlog), once they appeared, Ft. Rachel got us back in the water as soon as possible. We'll definitely return!

I love Mystic and Fort Rachel is a great location. The marina has new excellent docks; easy in and out; clean, well maintained facilities; super helpful staff. Groceries and West Marine are both a couple of miles away. Amtrak whizzes by regularly, but that didn't bother us at all. Overall, one of my favorite stops.

Great location, terrific staff and unbelievably nice, friendly and helpful long term slip owners make this the place to stay in Mystic! Will be back.

Great marina. Great people. First time visiting. Were treated like we were checking into a five star hotel. Don and Laura were very hospitable. Both Don and guests were all over greeting us and tying us up. Even handed us some local info package. Thank you all! Can't wait to visit again.

Awesome marina, friendly staff, great shower facilities and even had a laundry room available. SO close to everything - less than 10 min walk to all the bars/restaurants/shops but so quiet. Definitely recommend

Our stay at Fort Rachel Marina was excellent. We called the marina on VHF 9 and were promptly directed to our riverside slip. We were cheerfully greeted with assistance at the dock. The facilities were clean and well kept. There are hands there for service. River views were great. We were even provided with a concierge package for things to do and places to visit.....a nice feeling of hospitality. This is our favorite place to stay in Mystic. It is a close walk or dingy ride to anything in town. We look forward to returning.

Probably one of the best, if not the best marina we have ever stayed at. Location is ideal, with convenient walking distance to downtown mystic. The marina itself, is staffed with some of the nicest and helpful people I've ever met. Laura is super, as she always carries a big smile and is extremely helpful with questions and suggestions for things to do. The rest rooms were impeccable. Hospitals should take note, if they want to compare to a standard of cleanliness. My wife and I both made the same comment to each other, after meeting outside after showers..."I would have been finished a few minutes sooner but I had to wipe the spot off the floor that my flip flops left, when i put them on". We both walked out, without them on, so as to not dirty the floor. Very impressed and highly recommended as a really, really nice marina to transient at. Thanks so much, to the wonderful staff!!!

Awesome location and staff! Dave and Laura are excellent. Don Sargent, the GM, is well known in local marine circels and is a great resource for all things boating. I’ve known Don for over 30 years, great guy.

Fort Rachel Marina was a great place to stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Shore power was included. The showers were very clean with fresh flowers in the mens as well as the womens. It is close to the town and Mystic Seaport. They only have a few spots for transients so reserve as far ahead as possible.

Great spot for our Mystic visit. Clean washrooms and showers. Friendly staff. Short walk to the center of Mystic and the Seaport Museum. I will stop here again!

Staff was friendly and accommodating. We were greeted with a helpful packet of information and magazines covering the local happenings. Wonderful location as we could easily walk to shops and restaurants as well as the Mystic Museum. Loved everything!

Stayed at Ft. Rachel July 27-31, 2017. Awesome stay. The marina staff was terrific. They were waiting on the dock for us when we arrived, helped us tie up and came down a few times during our stay to see if we needed anything. Extremely accommodating. The office had a bag of goodies for us including WiFi and restrooms codes. The restrooms were clean and well maintained.There are grills and picnic tables available which we took advantage off. The marina is tucked behind the RR bridge wall and is very protected in weather which we did experience one day when the wind really kicked up. The area is residential and small business in older homes and the yards are beautifully landscaped for you to enjoy the short walk to downtown. Even closer is the Captain Daniel Packer Inn &Tavern and Friar Tucks Pub. A dinghy is a must in Mystic. There are so many coves and places to stop and grab a bite to eat while you explore.We will definitely stay at Fort Rachel again. Looking forward to next year!

Great location near downtown Mystic. They responded immediately after we hailed them on the radio. Dave and Don were their to help us tie up. Once secure they hooked us up to shore power and gave us the rundown on the marina facilities and local restaurants. Laura in the office was great. She gave us a bag with all kinds of information including wifi. cable tv, and a map of the Mystic sites. The marina was quiet with the exception of a train going by from time to time. Regular marina folks were very friendly. Overall a very good experience. We'll be back.

Great location; very helpful staff. I needed a new fuel hose fabricated and they sent me in the right direction...even offering a ride.
