Albemarle Plantation Marina is a great place to call home. The area is very beautiful off the Alblemarle Sound. Our dockmaster, J E Darnell is very knowledgeable and always helpful. The Dockside restaurant has great pizza but only open Sat-Tue. The gas prices are among the cheapest on the East Coast.
They are awesome! We stayed there for 6 months - they kept us informed of how our boat was doing. It is a beautiful area!
We live here and we love it. Marina is in great shape; easy access to fuel dock; take your golf cart right out to your boat (carts available to transients). The best Dockmaster. Unique amenities - pool, golf, tennis, restaurants. Truly resort living. A gem on the Sound - south of the freeze line; north of the hurricane line. Sail from here to anywhere in the world. Is there a better place to keep your boat?
