Manteo Waterfront Marina is owned and operated by the town of Manteo and features a walk to everything location in the heart of Manteo's historic district with stores and multiple restaurants easily walkable. Slips feature water, electric, cable TV and WIFI.

The Manteo Waterfront Marina is located in a tranquil setting less than a mile from the Roanoke Sound. It is a small, deep, and well-protected harbor, and can accommodate vessels up to 150 feet in length. The marina has only 53 slips available, making it perfect for that extra personal service. There are approximately 20 transient slips and 33 slips dedicated to seasonal and annual boaters. Rates are based on length-of-stay and size of boat. We also offer arrangements for repairs, haul out, rental cars, and shuttle services to nearby airports in Manteo and Norfolk, VA. Pump out service is available at the marina and fuel is available nearby. Casual dining, shopping, and supplies are all within walking distance of the marina.

All slips feature 30 and 50 amp power, cable television, and free wireless Internet access. The air conditioned comfort station located at the marina features separate men's and women's bathrooms, clean showers, and coin operated washer and dryer. Boaters come to Manteo for its coastal charm and relaxed atmosphere.

The Town of Manteo also provides free overnight tie-up with no services on a "space available" basis; or you may anchor in good holding between the Waterfront Gazebo and Roanoke Marshes Lighthouse and take your dinghy to the dock.

Berth Capacity

Take 90 degree right at marker #10 and proceed to the marina leaving the brown topped gazebo to port.Note: Pay attention when you turn in from the Roanoke Channel into the Shallowbag Bay Channel. There is significant shoaling at G29 in the Roanoke Channel to R4 as you turn in to the Shallowbag Bay channel. There is plenty of deep water but you need to go all the way to R30A before you make the turn into Shallowbag. Then stay close to G3 and G5 and far away from R4. The rest of the channel down to R10 is fine but stay 10-15 yards off the red side to have the deepest water. This is as of April 2017.The depths in the channel will support 7' draft once the shoal is avoided. YOUTUBE on the water approach video

this marina is a pleasant getaway for a weekend, the amenites ample. Docking is easy fixed docks, location is great for people watching, walking to eateries, and shopping. The nearest grocery store is about 1/2 mile from marina, but a pleasant walk thru the quiant streets of Manteo. It's a bustling area in the summertime, otherwise rather quiet in the off season. Reaching this marina can be a bit tricky thru Shallowbag bay as you'll need to nearly hug the markers as shoaling has caused shallow entry into the area. check your maps/charts and go slow.
