The location was great, very dog-friendly, and free ice was available when the museum was open (a 24-hour ice machine in the restroom/shower facility would be more convenient); a pump-out station was also available, which was nice, though we had to go to Shallowbag Bay for gas. The dockmaster promptly fixed the step on the dock to the boat that was wobbly. We would have liked cleats, but they only have poles to tie up to. It was pretty protected from the weather regarding wind and waves. It is also a great location for a short walk to multiple restaurants, bars, and shops. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would have given it 5 stars had they had cleats and more readily available amenities like 24-hour ice and gas on the premises.
