Great location with lots of good dining options. Great waterfront park with easy access to downtown shops and food. Only negative is the marina is not secure so there were people walking around a lot on the docks. We were there for 1st Friday festivities so that may have been why. Also laundry and showers are upstairs in the building by the docks. They do not have a full time dock master so no assistance with docking but it’s a protected area so fairly easy to dock. We rented a car and spent a day at Kitty Hawk, Nags Head, and KDH which was really nice. Great history in this area.
