We arrived in Oriental on a Wednesday and noticed a leak in our rudder system. We immediately contacted Zimmerman Marine for assistance. Remarkably, within an hour, a mechanic named Jim arrived to assess the situation. He informed us that someone would follow up with a quote, and true to their word, Jason called within an hour with the estimate and schedule. Although the repair was initially scheduled for the following week due to Labor Day, the team completed the repair later that Friday afternoon. Due to a family emergency, we had to fly home unexpectedly. Karen, the administrative assistant, along with Jason, worked closely with us to make arrangements to keep the boat safe during our absence. Throughout the entire process, the team in Oriental demonstrated professionalism, excellent communication, and a genuine dedication to their work. We cannot recommend this group highly enough.
