Treasure Cove Resort Marina

Went with 3 other boats and stayed 2 nights. The second night we all went out to dinner. My wife and I came back to the boats early and were surprised by 4 young adult males rushing out of my friends boat next to ours. My wife and I had to confront these thieves. All because the marina did not have an operational security gate. The key code locking device did not work and the gate was wide open (self-closing mechanism did not work). According to permanent boaters there, this gate issue has been ongoing for quite awhile and the marina hasn’t done anything to fix the problem. 3 of our 4 boats were boarded and things stolen.

My boat and three other transit boaters boats were broken into to on Friday night. Security fence has been broken for awhile and very disappointed.

Everyone at the marina was super friendly and helpful - especially Michelle in the office - and the facilities are all nice and clean. There’s several good casual restaurants right there and having access to the Hyatt pool is great, as well as the kayak rentals. Being right in the middle of town, it’s an easy walk to Suffolk Theater, Riverwalk, several breweries. Riverhead is really positioning itself as a lively and cool spot. Definitely would recommend it!

Loved the Marina's location, but by itself it could certainly use some updating, especially on the docks. However, they were floating which we always look for in a marina! "Dockhands" could certainly be upgraded! They saw their job as standing on dock to confirm that it's yours &catching the stern lines and then tying them up incorrectly. When I asked if they could help with the forward lines I was told we don't do that. One of them even asked me what a spring line was! 😲 Proximity to the town was great and provided nice choices for dining. And their association with the Hyatt is a wonderful thing. It gives you a swipe card so you have access to all the amenities they have. Loved the pool and pool side bar! 😁

The manager was outstanding, she came around to make sure everything was good after we arrive. The marina is located in a complex with the Hyatt Place L.I. and as a transient you have the use of 2 pools, and restaurants on the premises, and access to the town is convenient. The River Walk Park is pleasant and has a number of restaurants overlooking the park. My wife is particular about the restrooms at marinas we stay at and she thought these were clean and well taken care of. The two items I was disappointed with were the conditions of the transient docks, old wooden ones were shoes were a necessity, and one of the staff. The young man who "assisted" us in docking was really no help and never said hello and we were there for four days. We have stayed at a number of marinas and the dock hands are really the first people you come in contact with and can help set the tone of the visit, and unfortunately did not occur at T.C.M.. Having said that I would go back and stay as we really enjoyed the marina and location.

Very friendly people at the marina and it is located behind a nice hotel. There are several nice restaraunts right on the property too! Riverhead is definitely missing something as a town, but you are 15 minutes by Uber to West Hampton which is a gem. All in all a very comfortable place to stay.

The staff and facilities were perfect. Always a great time had there by all!

My family and I had a wonderful time during our stay. The facilities were very nice and very clean. We used the pool and visited the aquarium and other local attractions. The people were awesome. We experienced mechanical issues on the way in, and the folks at Treasure Cove were great in obtaining parts for us and offering advice. We even got a call making sure we got home alright! We'll be sure to go back and we encourage people to visit.

We enjoyed our time and the staff was very friendly, but the marina bathrooms could have been much cleaner. Nice facility and close to all.

Great service and nice attentive staff. Lots to do without ever leaving marina. The transient docks are old and worn. Many nail heads are sticking up and shoes of some kind must be worn. some updating is necessary. The WiFi works great, the pool is clean with a nearby bar for convenience. Other than the condition of the transient docks I have no complaints. Have stayed here in the past and will again in the future.

Thanks Vinny and staff.. We love it every July 4th. Hotel Tiki bar has great drinks and food if you want to hang by the pool. Plenty to do in the town. Love taking the grandchildren to the aquarium, and the breweries for the adults.

Fantastic location! Lots to do! Only thing, be prepared WiFi very sketchy, but time to decompress! Definitely going back.

Dock hands and everything was great. Aquarium was right behind us and the pool was open. Quiet at night and loved the seal sounds.

We arrived and they were expecting us, called me by my first name which I was impressed at how prepared they were. A big thank you to Michelle who helped us prepare for our trip; in addition, to helping us make reservations for the aquarium. It was a fantastic marina - they had a live acoustic guitar player as we sat and had drinks and dinner listening 6 feet apart. Great job Treasure Cove Marina - thank you for a wonderful stay!

What a beautiful marina - we came here for a quick bite to eat over the summer. The staff goes above and beyond in serving their customers! The Seaside Grill has refreshing food and drinks by the pool -we will be returning !!!!!

Treasure Cove is an absolute delight. Staff could not be more helpful. Docks and amenities are neat as a pin. Adjoining hotel has pool , workout gym and other amenities available. For kids there are good very nearby attractions. This place is highly recommended!
