The Port’s Guest Dock is located all along the inside of the break-water, which accommodates 49 guest slips ranging from 20 feet to 50 feet. In addition, we can accommodate larger vessels up to 86 feet at our ‘linear tie’ located at the very end of the Guest Dock. All guest dock slips are reservable with at least a 24-hours advance notice, and we can begin taking reservations as early as one year in advance.
Very customer friendly attitude. We were in a group of 19 boats and the arrangements were very simple.
Great place to visit. Nice facilities and restaurants within walking distance.
Very enjoyable. Easy Access/Exit. close to shopping/eating facilities. Fuel dock available. charges reasonable.
Gem of a marina! Great services, friendly and helpful staff and reasonable cost. Thank you - i will be back!
Kingston is a real gem, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the grounds are impeccably maintained. Just a great place to get away for a few days
We always love coming here. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Clean bathrooms!!great Wi-Fi
We had a great time in Kingston. The marina was nice and we had some excellent meals. The only negative would be booking via Dockwa. There is too much lag time from when you request a slip until someone contacts you and lets you know if there is room for you.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. Nice marina, good food and coffee choices nearby.
Always a great place to stay. Clean facilities, lots to do and near great fishing.
Great evening for the whole family. Serenade me in to port with local sirens playing the park. Enjoyed fresh Ono poke and the dog park before heading back out to catch Coho. See you for the derby!!!
2022 stay: Slip was reserved as promised. Marina staff were welcoming. Summer concert in park was a bonus. Updated from last stay: Slip side pump outs were great and laundry was fast and cheap.
Kingston Marina is super friendly and clean. Quaint small town with ferry terminal. Highly recommend. Fuel prices generally the best price.
Beautiful marina, wonderful staff, lots to do. Dock manager Ray Carpenter is the BEST!!!
Very very clean and organized marina. Ray the harbor master is a gem!
Very nice staff at Marina. Ray was quite welcoming and accommodating. Facilities are clean. Great location near restaurants and shops. The park at the Marina had some great music and market.
The marina is fantastic! Great wifi in our slip. The marina and the marina grounds are immaculately maintained. The staff was wonderful. Fantastic experience. Highly recommend.
Freindly and helpful marina staff, well maintained facility with restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay again.
Very friendly and helpful staff! Kingston is a nice stop, with several places to eat or grab a coffee and a pleasant PNW ambience.
As usual easy in and out, bathroom was clean, easy walk to restaurants and pubs. Well protected, close to Edmonds ferry. A perfect spot for a layover or extended stay
We were so appreciative to be able to be able to stay at Port of Kingston when a cancellation came up. The facilities are always so clean and we always feel welcome there. Kingston is one of our favorite ports and we look forward to returning there, hopefully soon.
We love staying at Kingston. The service is always courteous and friendly. We had a middle aged heavy set woman board our sailboat at 5:50 am and pound on our hatch boards shouting let me in! I shouted at her “wrong boat” repeatedly and was argumentative insisting it was her boat. She finally got off with the help of a male companion on the dock. She may have been homeless or a thief noting no lock on my hatchboards. Or intoxicated. I wish the guest dock had a security gate. I did not need to call the authorities. I am not faulting the Port of Kingston.
Great they responded quickly and were friendly and the harbor master met us when we came in
Always beautiful and clean with very friendly and helpful staff
Ray, the Harbor Master is a real asset to the Marina… Friendly and helpful
Very nice marina, clean restrooms, showers, and, laundry facilities. Nice friendly staff.
As always, Ray Carpenter was a 'host extraordinaire'. He's the primary reason we include Kingston in every Puget Sound cruise. His attitudes are clearly contagious, as most Kingston staff are similarly welcoming and solicitous. The best on the west coast, either side of the border
Love this marina. I love the tables and chairs under cover right near boats, the arts and crafts fair each Sunday, the special events, the closeness to town and great restaurants, the wonderful treatment our group gets from the harbormaster and all the employees, the nice bathrooms. I'm sure there's more...
What a great experience! All staff were friendly and helpful. Harbour master Ray is everyone’s best friend and very knowledgeable about the area. Faculties were very clean and well kept. Dog’s had a great time too. Highly recommended!
I can’t say enough good things about the marina staff at Kingston. They went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Thank you and we will be back!
A nice place and pleasant marina, in a cute town. The staff is very helpful. The slips are a little short, but backing in works.
I always enjoy Kingston. Nice Marina, nice folks in the office. Though the town is small, a few nice restaurants as well.
The Harbor Master and entire staff were courteous and helpful and the facility was clean and welcoming.
Helpful staff, nice selection of restaurants and a great park right at the marina.
Great weekend for the Trawler Crawlers. Special note of thanks to Rose and Ray for over the top customer service.
Excellent, really liked our slip. Marina was clean and amenities were great. Good restaurants nearby.Thank you
The staff are fantastic!! So friendly and accomodating. Good price on Diesel fuel and free pump out. We love P of Kingston!!
We had such a great time. The Kingston Cove Yacht Club welcomed us Friday and then the hotdogs provided by the Port were great. Everyone was very kind and it was so easy to register and pay. Can't wait to return.
Ray and team were AMAZING! Above and beyond to make our Emerald Rose Yacht Club Spring Cruise so much fun!
Clean marina, great communication, decent and clean bathrooms with hot showers and heaters- great grassy park for kids/pups and quick walk to all the great amenities this lovely town has to offer.
In port for a rendezvous, Ray and the marina staff treated our group very well. The marina includes a nice park like grassy area where they hold a Sunday market. Facilities are very nice. Good showers and clean bathrooms. Marina is accessible to restaurants, cafes, and ice cream shops.
Very nice facilities, friendly and helpful staff. Great stay.
Beautiful marina. Very well maintained. Exceptionally friendly staff. Ray, the Harbor Master is the best there is. This is a super well cared for marina.
Great marina - good, clean facilities and an amazing staff to work with. Thank you!
The docks are right inside the breakwater and easy to find. Just be careful entering as the entrance narrows at minus tides so stay within the channel markers. A bonus--there is a portable pump out cart that can be wheeled to your boat, hooked up to a sewer pipe on the dock--and the skipper does the pump out without moving the boat to the fuel dock. Very convenient! Docks are an easy walk to Kingston restaurants and shops.
We keep coming back and I'm never disappointed. I don't know of a marina with better staffing. The dock hands are fantastic, the office staff is amazing. The marina is well equipped and zero drama. Great fuel prices too.
Excellent Marina staff and service! One of our favorite stops going to the San Juan Islands. Facilities are fabulous…clean and always in tiptop conditions👍👍
As always Ray and his crew do an awesome job! Always enjoy our stay there
Beautiful facility with friendly staff. Close to food and drink.
Fabulous stay! Ray and the staff are helpful and accommodating. Clean facilities with easy access. The use of the electric cart is a lifesaver for getting supplies. Access to restaurants, events, and the ferry to Edmonds or Seattle was a nice extra. We will be back!
Very nice, clean marina with great people. Lovely little town with some good food. Large market, hardware store, up scale pet supply all in easy walk. Only issue for us was internet. We work from boat in secure environment. Usually use T-Mobile hotspot. Here, reception was poor and marina wi-if was incompatible with some VPN. Would go back when not working.
Everyone was incredible, especially Dock Master Ray. It was our first time docking our boat and we needed help. Ray helped us calm down and gave us encouraging words. He came down early the next morning to help us leave bearing gifts. We will forever be grateful. So glad we decided to dock here. Thank you to everyone who helped.
Very inviting marina. We had 3 boats traveling g from Port Ludlow. We are all members of the Port Ludlow Yacht club. The facilities here are fantastic. The marina is right next to the ferry terminal. We took the ferry over to Edmonds and ate lunch. I have never seen such green grass at a marina before. The marina is very clean. Perfect for walking dogs. I want to give a special shout out to Ray who is really very good at his job, both from a line handling view point to his friendly, welcoming demeanor. The POK is lucky to have him. Thanks Ray! Don, Doug and Steve.
First time staying at Kingston Marina. Exceptional service, cleanliness and overall experience from booking to departure.
Beautiful Marina and lovely park and planted areas. Visited the Market and Hardware store. Ice cream cones from the Creperie. Thoroughly enjoyable!
Nice marina, friendly office staff, lovely park lawn and Public Market Sunday morning.
We are thoroughly impressed with the facilities and amenities, the cleanliness an ease of navigation of the accommodations. We will most certainly be back!
The Port personnel are so nice and maintain a very clean facility. The only concern I have is that by reserving through dockwa, they were unable to allow me to use the available reciprocal privileges since I had prepaid in full. Lesson learned!
What a great place and great team the Port of Kingston team have. Ray is a great Harbormaster, welcoming and advocating for more visits. The fuel dock was convenient and good prices. Enjoyed the quick stay very much and will return for sure!
Very impressed with this marina. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Marina grounds and park are very well kept. Lots of visiting foot traffic and leashed dogs. Nice large well kept bathrooms, showers and laundry. Small downtown shops and restaurants one block away from office.
We had a great stay at Kingston. Friendly people and everything clean and well maintained. Such a great location, too.
Had a great time... Very helpful marina staff and pleasant environment. Loved the close by park and open spaces.
We love visiting. Harbor master Ray is the best. He met us at the slip with a keycard, slip payment receipt, and shorepower adapter. He and Ashley are always super helpful and nice. See you again soon! S/v Salacia.
We came here as as the halfway point for our trip for fuel and were glad we did. The staff was really nice, helpful, and friendly. Usually at fuel docks, it's here's your hat, what's your hurry. Here, they asked you if we needed water as well as fuel. We had reserved a night here as well in case the weather, and we decided to do the next leg as the weather was gorgeous. They called into the Marina office for us to cancel our reservation. The staff made it so enjoyable that we will be coming here again and again if we are ever in the area.
Beautiful marina. Great staff. 1st time here and we absolutely loved it. Special thank you to Rose and Ray outstanding staff. Outstanding customer service. Thank you
This marina has ice and ethanol free marine fuel. There are several restaurants close by and a large grocery store 1/4 mile up the road. Clean bathrooms and showers are now free.
The port of Kingston is very well maintained. We enjoyed our 2 day stay and will return
This marina is a hidden jewel! The marina staff are so friendly and helpful! All facilities are clean and orderly. Beautiful places to walk/hike nearby! Loved it! We’ll be back!! Thank you Kingston!
Great facilities. Genuinely friendly staff. Manager especially responsive and helpful. Not a great view but worth a couple of nights visit for sure.
The marina is very well kept and safe. The grounds and facilities were emaculate. With eatiers close by makes for an enjoyable stay. Definitely will come back if in the area.
Great marina. Beautiful grounds and short walking distance to many restaurants and shops.
Beautiful marina. clean with friendly staff. clean restrooms.
Kingston is always a wonderful time. The Port staff keep the amenities in tip top shape, the people are friendly and the Marina itself is picturesque.
Great marina. Friendly, courteous staff. Lovely Park area overlooking the marina. Good food in Kingston.
Cute small town with restaurants near the ferry landing and beautiful grounds. Mt views of Rainier and Baker. Kingston does a great job facilitating yacht clubs with covered picnic tables.
Nice town. Dock staff helpful and friendly. Dock itself is clean and well maintained. Very protected.
Nice marina, Saturday market was fun, plenty of other shops/restaurants nearby too.
Marina folks were very helpful. I appreciated their communication and follow-up. The marina's services were exceptionally clean and inviting. What a jewel!
Cool village to visit. The guest moorage fills up quickly so plan to arrive early. The amenities are nice and well maintained and the staff are really friendly. Also the grass area is one of the nicest manicured lawns I’ve ever walked on.
Staff at POK is awesome, helpful and friendly! They check the guest dock several times each day. The office is set up with lots of COVID hand cleaners. The Harbor Master was very helpful with tips on where to drop crab pots. The facilities are also great -- clean bathrooms and showers. Laundry room was clean and machines work (2 washers and 2 dryers). 40 min for the washer, 45 for the dryer. Docks are clean and in good condition.
Great Marina. Super helpful staff. We came in on a very windy day and they were at the ready to get us safely docked in a tight space. Darling downtown is just steps away with great restaurants. All amenities were clean and fresh.
Kingston has a very nice marina with clean facilities and a friendly staff. There are nice some me very places within a few minute walk, but it is a small town. Crepes were wonderful.
The Marina is fine and the restrooms were clean and spacious. Good social distancing signage. The town of Kingston is within walking distance with lots of eating and shopping options. The pump out station is inoperable. I felt it would have been nice to have been notified of this prior to arrival. If you can preassign slips, the fact that the pump out is down and will be for several weeks, is important information to know prior to arrival.
We love Port of Kingston. This will be our regular stay as we cruise around The Sound.
Great friendly staff at the office and fuel dock. Will definitely come back
Fantastic staff and a great place to spend the night. Easy walk to restaurants.
First trip to Kingston. Marina has new power connections and an easy to reach fuel dock with competitive prices. Employees were all excellent!
Very nice marina and town. Ray, the harbormaster, was very helpful.
No clue why the restrooms in the marina are not open to paying customers since the Washington State Ferry bathroom - no more than 100 yards away - is open. No bathroom and/or shower access nor access to the usual loaner electric car, but mooorage rates are not reduced. Seems silly to me.
Restrooms and showers closed for COVID. Using WA state ferry public facilities. No consideration in charges for moorage. However all properly disclosed.
Great marina and people, Ray and the entire group there are the best! My favorite marina!
I was only able to stay one night if the two I booked. The harbor master, Ray, who came down personally to meet us as we arrived assured us we would not be paying for a night we didn’t stay there. He gave us a free night stay. Kingston was beautiful and welcoming as always.
Kingston is a fun Marina, We had a great time as always. The Harbor Master, Ray, is such a great guy and so quick to help out with anything you need. WIFI was a little week and spotty but better than nothing.
Ray, the harbormaster, met us at our slip and helped us tie up even though we arrived after hours. Great stop-over on the way to and from the San Juans. Close to plenty of food and drink options. Highly recommended.
Harbormaster Ray demonstrated a level of customer service rarely seeh anywhere these days!!! The marina is in excellent shape, the grounds are lovely and Sister Mercy busted out some amazing jams! We can’t wait to come back!
Wonderful! Beautiful area with lot’s of dinning options. Easy to get to the grocery store and hardware store. The marina staff are exceptional!! Would love to return in the future.
Love this marina! Is clean and quiet with shops and restaurants close by. The staff is awesome
Staff are super friendly, great marina, clean lavatory, slips are easy in and out, no strong cross currents to worry. Approach much improved with removal of all the old crab pots. A regular stop on the way to the San Juan’s.
Ray the dockmaster was very helpful and made it such a pleasant place to stay . Also upon talking Joe was there and was very helpful . I highly recommend Kingston for a place to stay.
Lovely facility, wonderful people, a very pleasant experience.
Great little town for a weekend, or overnight visit. The Marina is staffed with friendly and helpful folks. Everything was clean and in good working order. All the amenities are here and easily accessible, though the WiFi did wax and wane. The marina provides electric cars for 2 or 4 that boaters can use to head deeper into town to do shopping. A few good restaurants are a 5 min walk away. Try Kingston Alehouse, great food.
Love visiting Kingston! The marina has great services to offer and Ray who I believe is the Marina Manager is absolutely amazing. The most friendly, helpful, genuine person. If I owned a marina, I would definitely want him running it!
As always, the marina and staff are excellent. Even though a busy three day weekend, the staff is accommodating and helpful as if you are the only boat. The Marina and grounds are nicely cared for and the nearby shops and restaurants are very good.
This was our first trip to Port of Kingston but definitely not our last. We had a wonderful weekend! Customer service was great we enjoyed our first electric car ride. Thank you Harbor Master
an excellent stay, even got to use their electric cart to run errands in town!
I made my first visit to Kingston Marina via my boat on Monday afternoon July 16. I had earlier made a reservation and received back an assigned slip. Getting an assigned slip ahead of arrival is unique for area marinas and I welcomed that. However, I encountered great confusion upon entering the marina as to where my assigned slip was to be found. I had downloaded the dock chart to my smart phone, but it lacked clear information. Upon entering the marina and encountering no explicit directional signage I did a slow speed tight u-turn just off dock C and immediately ran aground, despite being well within all nav buoys. I was able to twist and get free and then exited the marina. I called the marina office and got confusing directions but got the idea that I should proceed with the breakwater to starboard. Later I learned that another sailboat from my club (Seattle Sailing Club) had also run aground upon entering the marina. No doubt the low tides were the culprit. But it’s most unacceptable for insufficient depths to be un-marketed in the navigation paths inside a marina! Additionally your marina map and signage is grossly insufficient. A guest boat entering a marina should be able to immediately understand from abundantly clear signs what direction to go for “guest mooring”, “fuel”, and “pump out”. You should send a link along with confirmed reservations to a map with color coded “GUEST MOORING” and the other critical information. It does not need to show where trucks are parked or any other information not useful to arriving boaters.
Great! marina staff are super friendly and helpful. Nice little town with enough to keep you busy.
Great marina, cute town, has everything you need, concert in the park and farmers market were nice. Our slip was taken when we arrived, so we took one 2 down and it turned out to be fine, not sure what happened but the office was glad that we took that one instead, we think a boat grabbed the wrong slip. No issues at all and very happy with our stay!
Very cute marina! The facilities were clean and nice. The staff was very friendly and we loved the free concert in the cove! The slips are well protected by the breakwater wall and the marina is very peaceful!
Great weather, awesome festival and great staff. Ray was the most helpful and friendly guy we met. He helped us with a pjmpoout and we had great conversation. Good times!
Have to echo the other review here. Very nice facilities and very affordable. Food and other supplies are within walking distance. The local market offered to pick up our cart at the marina. That is a community that supports boating!
