Our mission is to enhance the economic well-being of the community and improve public access to marine areas while respecting the unique rural character and environment of South Whidbey Island.
Good place to stop heading north from Seattle. The bathrooms and showers desperately need upgrading/cleaning etc.
Great space and staff!
Staff was very helpful in getting us settled for our stay. Thank you very much
Great marina! Communication was easy and quick. Amenities were easily accessible and clean.
Fantastic staff, very thoughtful and quick to help. Amenities were clean and easy to access. The golf cart rides were very helpful for my mother in law to get to town.
You site deleted my first attempt to write a review. Here is the condensed version. Nice marina and facilities. Our slip location was challenging Especially leaving the slip. It took two nearby boaters on the dock to help us. Many fishing boats were tied close to us. All that said l, we appreciate having a slip during this busy time.
Great stay. The staff was very helpful. A golf cart ride to town was nice. Baby seals to watch in the marina. Highly recommended. A little tight but very protected.
Friendly and helpful dockmaster. Thank you!
Dock crew was great. Very small marina so reservation are required. Easy walk to town or they have a shuttle golf cart to take you up
Ed was very helpful getting us moored.
Nice location. Close to town, went in for a bite and enjoyed the shops.
I do enjoy visiting Langley and have stayed in the small harbor many times. I was assigned slip D3 which was a bow in starboard tie. However when I arrived there was a boat in D3 so I had to take slip D1 which is a Port side tie at the transition to E dock. There is also a gap in the breakwater which makes things a little lumpy at times as waves pass through. I do think they need to do a better job at managing assigned slip assignments.
The marina is well-maintained and is a short walk from town. The staff was pleasant and helpful.
Langley is a very cute little town and an easy walk from the marina. The marina bathrooms were not clean and were in poor repair.
Crew was helpful and the walk into town is really short! Saw multiple whales from the dock- so magical!
Bathrooms were unusable. The shower stall was dirty and the toilet blocked and overflowing.
Wonderful !!! Harbor Masters were lovely. We spent the whole weekend there. They helped us get in and gave us a great slip. Just really enjoyed our stay.
Helpful and friendly dock crew.
Nice dock. Good power. Great sunrise. Langley’s shops all close by. Fits our 85’ no problem.
Clean, guiet, awesome staff and enjoyed the town.
Second time here. Someone had swiped my reserved slip, but the marina quickly figured it out. Great staff / harbormaster. I'll be back again soon.
Very nice stay. The docks are clean and in good shape, the staff is very helpful.
The marina is really nice. Still this was a bad experience as someone took my reserve spot and there were no notice to show i reserved the spot. I was not aware the reservation sheet was at the harbor office.
The staff at Port of South Whidbey always take great care of us. Its a snug little marina but they are always on hand to help with lines and docking to keep things no stress and fun. I visit in my 36 foot trawler on my own (flying solo) quite frequently so having and extra helpful hand when arriving and leaving is so appreciated! Add to to the great service the wonderful location close to town, the market, shops, and great restaurants make this a great place to stop as you make your way points north or as a destination all its own.
Very nice staff that helped us dock and gave us a ride up the hill
Port of South Whidbey Harbor at Langley has a very nice dock with picnic tables and convenient trash bins. If you need it, a shuttle is available to get you up the hill into town. We got to see a gray whale, momma and baby seals, rabbits and deer, including a fawn. So many great restaurants and boutique store, it is a fun adventure to visit.
We love this marina. We have a 47 foot sailboat and were give a space on the linear dock for transients. The dockmaster met us and gave a hand with our lines. He also gave us a ride up into the town in a courtesy shuttle. The town of Langley is wonderful. A must-visit when on Whidbey. It would be even more wonderful if there were bike rentals there.
Seems too many seals on the docks and needs to be addressed.
Thank you for nice spot. Enjoyed it.
Truly appreciated location of the E dock and help docking. Thanks!
Harbormaster is grump. Quick to tell you what is not possible, not helpful in finding a solution
They would not allow us to back in, so we had to tie on the side with no cabin door. Awkward. It's priced like a full service marina, but has minimal amenities. The pump out station isn't always available (sometimes it's sitting on the tide flats). The showers require tokens, which are only available from the office. The main marina was almost empty, but they put us out on the break water, with only partial protection. Each time someone cruised past the marina, we were treated to a wake. Next time, if there is a next time, I'll anchor.
We send special thanks to Jo who was waiting for us upon arrival and helped us tie up safely at A1 slip in high wind and current. Much appreciated!
The staff at South Whidbey Marina was excellent as usual. Can't get any better.
Friendly accommodating and helpful staff. Nice and quiet.
Very nice people. Cool little place.
My only complaint is that the booking confirmation email did not have the restroom/shower code. In the past this information was sent with the confirmation email or text message. Can someone please change the system so that we have proper access to the restroom?
It wasn't even that windy night, but deck and our 30ft boat at C-2 was rocking pretty hard. It seems guest slips aren't very protected from weather. It was hard to sleep. Men's shower had a dozen of bugs (size about half inch length) crawling around the floor, that was nasty. Langley is a lovely town, but I don't think we will use South Whidbey Harbor again.
Always a great stay! Marina staff are extremely precise and help you navigate in to a fairly tight marina. It’s quiet, clean, and an easy walk into town.
Upon arrival we discovered a large log and other debris in our slip. Boat ramp is poorly maintained. Restroom facilities have extremely limited hours. This facility has been in decline for several years while moorage rates continue to climb, I would advise looking for moorage elsewhere. 2Jul2026 Update. I wanted t update my review. I had a conversation with harbor staff today regarding my previous review. I discussed my frustrations that led to My previous review and the staff Member acknowledged those, sharing some of the same frustrations associated with marina operations. I appreciated this frank discussion. My previous review did not single out any one individuals performance, and I would like to communicate that this particular staff member has always been helpful to myself and other boaters.
Great little marina. A bit tight getting in but they will come to help. Shuttle to town during office hours.
This is a five star municipal marina run with a very steady stand by Harbor Master Kathy Myers. We love the natural beauty of the small harbor and we highly recommend a stay.
Easy arrival with great communication.
First rate service. Friendly people and I really like the town of Langley. The Star Store is a mush seed. I highly recommended South Whidbey Harbor at Langley.
Kudos to the Dockmaster, who accommodated our request and also went the extra mile to respect our over excited and skittish dog. We love staying at Langley. These people are awesome.
Predictable. You know what to expect (good and bad) and it is exactly that. Had to clean sea strainer after that water in the marina for a night :-/ The golf cart ride to town was nice. Langley is always a delight if not terribly overpriced. The pump out is basically useless if you have a boat of any size. No space to get to it and it has to max tide to even safely get to it. We will be back, even as-is. Would be nice to see pump out improved.
It's a great place to stay, however, we were never told to check our Trip on the App for the gate and bathroom codes so we're locked off the dock in the evening and morning when we left. Luckily we figured it out the second time and left someone on the boat.
Kathy, Brian and Ed are great people, and they run an amazing harbor!
Great staff. Enjoyable facility and town.
Dock staff and facilities were friendly and clean. We enjoyed our stay.
nice quiet place to hang out, close to home as well
Small marina but very convenient. Friendly staff and a short walk to town.
Facility worked just fine, hose were nice, seals were friendly, bathrooms clean. The marina is very tight. The aisle between slips is only slightly longer than the slips themselves, but that's a design issue not a management issue.
Harbor master very helpful
Great staff…very helpful! Close to town, and a lovely view. We were there in 15knots of the north, and on D Dock, so it was a bit rolly, but all in all, a great experience!
Not a terrible marina, but not “good” either. Many of the vessels moored near the approach are not manned. Proceed with caution especially at night.
Wonderful staff, go every year
No water. No shower tokens. No-one at the office. Other than that it was a good stay.
Solid breakwater side-tie moorage with a great view. Staff was terrific. Love the short walk to town for restaurants and supplies.
Early season but nice stay
Easy dockage, helpful marina staff, free shuttle rides to downtown. And Langley is a dream of a village. Stumbled upon their monthly Saturday Art Walk and it was inspiring to see local artists meet with the visitors and talk about their craft. Will come again!
Great little town to visit. Easy walk in and my dog loves the pizza:) Easy in out on the outside long dock.
AAA+++, Absolutely perfect stay in Langley. From the very start, reservation process was easy with good response from the port. Harbormaster was most helpful providing assistance while docking. Amenities were above average and very clean. Fresh water hoses a nice Plus to make cleaning shoes and pups after beach combing. Will be returning soon! Thanks!
We always love visiting Langley and are grateful for the efforts of the team at the Port of South Whidbey. This is a very small marina that can fill up quickly. Staffing is usually 9-3 daily so do not count on someone catching your lines. If they are there and you ask, they can generally accommodate you but plan otherwise. Shower uses tokens so if you arrive out of hours, you might be out of luck. Nice people, great location. We will return.
Friendly staff. Clean restrooms. Great shuttle service!
Challenging dock to tie to with a NE wind. Another guy before us and his first time wasn't very happy either. No toilet paper in the marina bathroom, but the porta-potty did. Tried to shower but quarters are not allowed. Harbormaster has tokens but they are closed on Sunday. The token concept is not clear prior to arriving. When paying for a Marina stay It's nice to use the amenities one is paying for. Over all it provide a place to stay and I had to switch my schedule several times and that worked out as well. It's too bad the Marina isn't larger as Langley is one of the coolest towns around.
A very nice, clean small marina. The staff is excellent and helpful. The village is very cute with many nice shops and restaurants. It is a bit of a hike up the hill, but I think there is also a shuttle service. Make reservations as it is small and quite busy on weekends in the summer. You can also anchor in the bay and dinghy into the marina.
