Introduction:
Treasure Island is one of two bridge-linked islands in San Francisco Bay (the other is Yerba Buena, which the Oakland/Bay Bridge crosses over physically). Treasure Island is a man-made extension of Yerba Buena and has been home to an airport (this is where the famous Pan Am Clippers departed from), and is now a Naval Station. Most all of both islands are restricted and there are no places to tie off.

Navigating the Water:
This is a busy area of Naval, commercial and heavy freight traffic. This in conjunction with the Bay Bridge makes it a challenging area to navigate. Keep a close watch, follow your marks, mind restricted areas, and you should be fine.

Local Notices to Mariners:
Local Notices to Mariners are now exclusively available online from the U.S. Coast Guard.
