Very old fixed docks (50 year old) are regularly submerged! The public marina has gorgeous floating docks by contrast, has clean bathrooms, and security on the docks. As a former member of many years, I can say life without paying membership dues to MYC (exceeding that of chicago yacht clubs) feels great. I dine at restaurants with great service and food. I use marinas with floating docks. Iām not settling anymore. Pretty location but wish it was called the Wisconsin Club YC or University Club YC with would bring a much higher standards and a culture of progress, of maintenance, of rules, and of fiscal stewardship.
