Had three rods stolen off my boat during the weekend of August 6th. I have pictures and video showing my rods on the boat during the afternoon on August 7th. Woke up and went to my boat August 8th and three of them were gone.
I didn't notice they were gone until I had already left BMC. I tried calling right when I noticed, but as usual nobody answered. I reported this to the marina GM the next day and never heard back. I called a week later to follow up and finally got a hold of someone, he seemed to care less and told me the third party who monitors the cameras didn't see anything. Of course they didn't steal heavy electric reels, they stole lightweight setups that could be easily carried.
In response to the above review. This boat was at our marina for 2 nights and staying at a condo down the road as we were full at the resort. We had appx. 30 boats in the marina at the time. There was a boat parked next to his boat in the marina with 4 very expensive electric deep drop reels and rods and they did not get taken. No one else in the marina has reported anything taken. Also, this person did not come to management on Aug 8 when he noticed the rods were missing, he left for Florida and called back here on Monday the 9th. If he had come to management, we would have filed a police report that morning. I have been the GM for over a year here and have not had anything go missing off of any boat or our property.
