Marina is very convenient to town of Sag Harbor and all the shops and restaurants. Transient docks are new and the staff is very accomodating. However, the showers and bathrooms are not convenient to dock and somewhat primitive. If amenities are not needed, this is a good place to dock.
The facilities are excellent. The power, cable tv, and water are great. The floating docks, bathroom and laundry facilities are top flight. The place even fits in a small pool, perfectly heated, surrounded by deck chairs. But the best thing about Newport Marina is Steve, the ubiquitous dockmaster. He seems to be everywhere and runs a really nice facility. Congratulations to Steve and everyone who uses this marina.
