my husband and I came in over night. the walk from the dock to the office to check in was lengthy but doable. my concern lies in what we heard when we checked in.. as we entered the office the dock master and one of his dockhands were discussing current events in our country. the boy was going on about the protests and making, to be blunt, shockingly racist comments. the things he said were not only offensive to people of color but cruel. wishing death upon people was when it really broke my heart. the work place is NOT the place for expressing political opinions! I find it difficult to state my disappointment to see that Safe Harbor allows open racism on the job.
