Oak Bluffs harbor is always happening on a great weather weekend. The slips are full and the moorings are packed. We didn't have much engagement with the dock staff, but we did see them helping others with electrical cords and catching lines. Be sure to visit Winston's Cafe at the end of corner on the harbor. They have the best coffee, breakfast sandwiches and subs.
Our stay was great. Besides the challenge to get in to the slip due to the crazy currents, everything was great. We have two dogs and the floating dock makes it easy to get them off the boat for a walk. We saw two fabulous sunsets while there and ate a lot of oyesters - what could be better???
Easy mooring field, lots of launch service to Kingman/Chart Room and to Parker's.
Always enjoy Cuttyhunk for its simplicity and great marine facilities. I love that there is nothing to do but enjoy the island and the people there. The dock staff, Dillon in particular, is extremely helpful. He is always there to help. We make sure we visit a couple of times during the summer.
A very pleasant surprise. First time in Bristol. There is a lot to do. If Newport is busy, Bristol is a great alternative. Lots of live music and great restaurants. Very boater friendly, but no fuel.
The Nantucket Moorings is a great place to stay. They are very helpful. They cruise the mooring field and make sure you have everything you need. We are already planning to go back.
