Wonderful Harbor with well maintained moorings. Very friendly and helpful. The only negative that I have is the size of the dingy dock and the amount of boats that are tied up over night or multiple nights. On Block Island it is posted no overnights tie ups. They should consider this.
As always Nantucket Moorings provides excellent service. They Call to confirm that we will be there before 5 when they close. Offering to show us to our mooring as we enter the harbor. Easy to pick up mooring with the attached stick, no boat hooks or threading with your own line. Mooring line barnacle free.
Brendan was very helpful. But the floating docks appeared to be designed by somebody who has never taken a boat to a marina. The slip we were put in had a piling At the dock right were the bow should be. The electricity and water required the hose and cords to cross the dock becoming a tripping hazard. Then there was the challenge of not enough cleats. Anyway nice place though the restaurants seem to close early and West Marine closes at 5. But itโs convenient to groceries and a laundromat.
