Have to echo the other review here. Very nice facilities and very affordable. Food and other supplies are within walking distance. The local market offered to pick up our cart at the marina. That is a community that supports boating!

Very nice facilities. Most supplies are near by. Very clean and friendly. This is one of our favorite ports of entry and exit from the US to Canada.

This is a Yacht Haven in every sense of the word. It is beautiful, friendly, well maintained and bloody expensive, There is lots of good anchorages in the bay, just hope you can afford the dingy landing fee!

This is a great working marina. Every boating service you could think of is near and affordable. The docks are clean and in good repair. The only down side is it is a bit a jaunt into town or shopping. I have received some great advice here about the mouth of the Straits and crossing to Canada. The fishing is some of the best in Washington. Friendly and helpful people.

Great facilities and yard here. The only drawback is the long winding channel to get in. Have an up to date chart, keep one eye on your fathometer at all times. I have lived through the humiliation of successfully navigating the Columbia Bar only to ground in the Ilwaco channel. The shame, the shame.

Though crowded in the summer this is a wonderful little marina with great anchorage in the bay. There is a lot of boats in summer but a good crowd.

What to say this place is awful!!! Don't come here!!! It is not an amazingly friendly facility that is perfectly maintained without being a bunch of yacht snobs. It does not have a beautiful setting, great crabbing, a short run to fantastic fishing... Nope don't come here... There is not a really nice park and beach. The public fishing pier is not a fun place for kids to CATCH fish...Nope stay away! There is also not a fun history around the place because it is where John Wayne kept his yacht and donated the land for the marina and park to Jefferson County... Nope, but if you do come here make sure you stop by our boat and say hi!

You cannot get near the dock in a boat of any size. Caution must be used if anchoring off as the flats extend out far from the beach then drop off steeply. Any anchored boat is exposed to the brunt of any weather on the sound. We have anchored off and taken the tender in to get icecream at the wonderful little store but I would not leave a boat on the hook long here.

OK first off the location and address in the posting are wrong. Fort Worden St. Park is near Port Towesend Washington about 120 NM by water from Olympia. It is a wonderful park but has only a few mooring buoys that you will be lucky to find open in the season. The bottom is good for anchoring but aside from a day trip I would use caution. It is very exposed to weather from both Admiralty Inlet and the Straits of Juan de Fuca. The park is best visited by land. I have put in at Port T and biked to the park

This is the best place to land for a refit of your boat. Everything you could need from welding to rigging is right here. Friendly people. Had more volunteers then I needed to help step a mast. Great experience. I have refit three boats here and though it is expensive I would do it again
