Wonderful marina with a helpful, friendly staff. Grocery and dining are very close by.
This was our first stay in Carolina Beach. The area was lovely and we had a first class dinner at the Surf House. There are decent bike lanes for getting around on bicycles and the beach was beautiful. A nice Publix grocery is only about half a mile. There are only two transient slips but if you can get one, the price is terrific!
Nice docks, great location and helpful staff. They offer a complimentary taxi to Harris Teeter Grocery every morning. Great restaurants. We enjoyed our stay.
Nice docks and nice people if you don’t need WIFI. It is very frustrating that all Safe Harbor marinas advertise WIFI but it rarely works. Harbor master did his best to help but the internet provider could not provide WIFI service.. There are not many businesses within walking distance but there are nice bike trails.
The docks were great and the staff was helpful but they advertise WIFI and it does not work. I spent a significant amount of time on the phone with Beacon but they could not get the WIFI to work. She said she would have an engineer call the next day but we were leaving the next day. I never heard from anyone. If WIFI is not important to you, Safe Harbors are great. However, our priorities are floating docks and working WIFI and while docks are great, Safe Harbors have not followed through on their promises for WIFI.
