A nice place to keep your boat, and a nice place to visit. Marina heads/showers are clean, as is pool next to the heads. Marina is part of Kemah Boardwalk, and visitors are within a few minute walk seafood, Mexican, sushi, steak, starbucks, ice cream and more. Shopping is good. Live entertainment on Thursday-Sunday during spring-summer, is next to the Kemah Boardwalk Inn. If you like amusement parks, Kemah has ferris wheels, a wooden roller coaster, and more. In the summer, you can watch Friday night fireworks from your boat in the marina, walk to the boardwalk and watch/listen to music, or take your boat out with the hundreds of others to see the flashing lights. The nearest travel-lift/yard is across the Kemah Channel. We kept our boat at the Boardwalk for six months, and enjoyed it.
