We stayed at Safe Harbor Rockland to wait out the passage of tropical storm Elsa through Maine. The dock staff went above and beyond to make sure our boat was safely tied to the dock, helping with boat lines and even providing an additional fender to keep the boat off the dock. The bathrooms, showers and laundry facility were the best we have experienced in Maine (so far). Very nicely done. Interesting that there was no charge for the laundry. That was a nice touch. Yes, we will be back.
Great stay! The folks at Robinhood Marina were very helpful. Provided a loaner car to get into Bath, ME to reprovision. The bathrooms were clean and comfortable with good sitting to get dressed. The library provided great browsing entertainment. Staff were helpful with fueling, pumpout, etc. We stayed multiple nights and will be back.
DiMillo's is the place. Right downtown - easy walk to just about everything Portland. Great people. Helped with fueling, pump-out, docking, information about the city (location of West Marine and Trader Joe's). A bit of rocking when something big passed by the dock and a narrow entrance into the fairway, but other than that perfect. Likely we will be back.
Great stop on our way north. Staff were very helpful with docking, fueling, water, pump-out. Very upscale bathrooms and showers. Couldn't have been better service. Great location - we were able to bike all over Cape May. We will be back.
The location was great. Launch service was responsive and fast. However, the dinghy dock was challenging at low tide (skinny water). The bathrooms and showers really need updating. It's been a long time since I needed quarters for a shower! Staff were great. The facilities need a bit of improvement.
Great location. Dockmaster helpful and responsive. Bathrooms/showers modern and well kept. Dinghy dock had enough room for our dink. Town was charming and supportive. Fun to get around using our folding bikes.
