On behalf of our annual Military Appreciation Day (MAD) volunteers and active duty guests, we want to express our deep gratitude to the staff at the marina for their outstanding community civic mindedness in support of our annual event. As an all volunteer, 100% donor supported organization, we depend on the generosity of the local community and Safe Harbor South Harbour Village Marina definitely showed their local community spirit. Manager, Mike, Dockmaster, Ian and the dock staff couldn't have been more welcoming, generous, and helpful in making the facility available for our use and helping ensure a quality experience for our visiting troops. We look forward to continuing our relationship with the marina and are delighted to have it in the community. Hank Pomeranz, MAD Southport Chapter.
One of our favorite places. Convenient to restaurants, shopping. Dinghy dock is a one block walk to the beach. Mooring balls and penants in great shape.
We routinely come up here during the summer and enjoy it each time. Early morning activity from fisherman getting underway can get a bit noisy for an hour or so...perhaps just on weekends. Mooring balls further from the landing dock may be quieter by not as convenient. Small grocery one block away has ice and other supplies.
