When searching for a place to keep a Cape Dory 36 somewhere in the Casco Bay area I found GIBY on Google Earth, drove up to look at the yard on a Sunday in January and immediately decided it looked like a great spot. Been there 5 years now and can’t say enough good things about the place. The yard and facilities are well kept, staff is very professional/friendly/helpful, the location is well protected and the on site cafe is super convenient. Service at the yard is unparalleled in terms of timeliness and quality. My family and I look forward to being back at GIBY each summer.
