There is no security or even a fence to keep people away from your boat. Two of the five days I wanted to use the water it was not working; I was told the pump was not working. I was told by the full-time boaters adjacent to me this was common. and that when it does work, there is inadequate water pressure. Also, there was no way to plug into the electricity without a special adapter and there was no option but to pay $41.00 to purchase the adapter, no rental, no loan with deposit, no 120 15-amp receptacle. Pay $41.00+ for the adapter. Finally, the dock is about 15-feet long so you are not going to be able to access anything but one end of your boat but not get access to the entire boat as it is docked. I'll use the facility again as it is very convenient to where I stay in Fort Walton Beach but if there was an alternative, I would use it instead.

Marina Response:
Hello, The security we do have 24-hour video surveillance, but you are correct about the gate. There is only a gate to get into the Yard Storage area. The water pump is having to be replaced. We did, however, get the water switched over to a different water service within 24 hours of being notified of an issue. We are on the schedule to have someone come work on or replace the pump for the water. If you would have called the storage number or sent us a message on Dockwa where you made your reservation about the water we might have been able to fix it to where you could have used it. But when I found out about it around 4 pm (had someone stop and get parts that night) the next morning it was still not working so we did what we could to try to fix it. Wasn't kicking on, so we switched it to the other water. Also the power, we do not advertise that we have 15amp service. We offer 30 and 50 amp (shore power), we do however sell the adaptors for our customers (which the same adapter is sold at West Marine for almost $65+tax).
