They charge for 50 amp service, even though they know I can only use 30 amps. Also the main float on C dock is tilting, and the cement is crumbling. It is an embarrassment to me when I bring guests, and I wonder just how long it will hold together.

We had a mooring, and the local power boat traffic made it very uncomfortable. Way too rolly polly.

The Folk Festival crowds certainly had an impact on the number of boats in the Bay this week, resulting in the rolly polly. Please come back and stay with us on a non-festival, less crowded weekend or weekday and give us a second chance to show you how great it is to stay in Jamestown.

We had a 2 day reservation. Half way in we were asked to relocate from our assigned slip to another slip because the "owner" of the slip we were in was returning prematurely. This was very inconvenient, and when it was time to move we had to track down the dock boys to assist with the move. Very unsatisfactory.

We try to plan ahead to avoid moves, but it sometimes happens that the regular slip holder has to return early.
