Introduction:

The South Fork of the Saint Lucie Inlet officially begins near Bessy Point farther north near Stuart on the Okeechobee Waterway, but for this location, we are discussing the location of where the south fork of the Saint Lucie River leaves the Okeechobee Waterway around Mile Marker 13.

Navigating the Water:

Use NOAA Chart 11428.

A privately maintained white daybeacon marks the entrance to the continuation of the South Fork of the Saint Lucie River near Okeechobee Mile Marker 13. Project depths are 10 feet.
