Introduction:

Located on the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) near Key Largo at Mile Marker 1134, Jewfish Creek leads the ICW route from Barnes Sound to Blackwater Sound along a one-mile stretch of mangrove-lined water.

Navigating the Water:

Jewfish Creek is easy to navigate and has five- to seven-foot depths throughout the length of the channel. A bascule bridge with an 11-foot closed vertical clearance crosses the south side of the Creek. A high-level replacement bridge is under construction as of this writing.
